I want to try some Dope beats wit this,,im on a hip hop rap crew and i think de dermin is da way tou gO... anyone here man enof to stand up and join the crew?
@fuzzyfuzzball911 Well, i came here from Toastboy. I knew about Valse Sentimentale before hand, but not this version. People who are quoting it might merely be giving their props to the connection between the two.
This is creepy, the original is sombre, but this is sorta "person with no face" creepy. Like there's something missing. Truly, a beautiful piece of music.
Heeeellloooo Iiiim clara rockmore. I like rusty theremins....
But seriously, this is incredible. A sound like no other instrument. And for those of you who don;t know, the theremin is very unique in that it is the only instrument that doesn't actually ever come in contact with one's hands/fingers.
Everytime when i play this song on my woody guitar, some kind of strange things happens on my house that doesn't wanna let me end that song, like open and closing doors, screams in the bathroom, and that annoying smell of sulfure... whatever, that songs is great, i got to do a cover in a punk rock version :D
Her music helps me feel better about things, because it sounds so lost and sad itself. Eerie and moving piece of music I tell you. I think she is one of the most amazing artists, so naturally talented and innovative in pitch, form and style. I am in love with it all. It's like the Theremin radiates ghosts of memories, sounds of the past, it is completely enthralling.
@Drmofothegreat The problem with theremins is they use a really powerful electric field, so any electric appliance you have near them is likely to malfunction. I heard they're a nightmare to record
isn't this the song from oldboy that woo-jin is humming when he's pointing that laser pen to the box with all the pictures of daesue riding his daughter??? (woah that was a mouthful!)
Now you mention it, it sounds an awful lot like it. But it isn't, The song Woo-Jin hums is called 'Cries and Whispers' and is really beautiful as well. However, Cries and Whispers really sounds a LOT like yet another classical, wellknown waltz. But I don't know what it's called.
Uhg. I was greatly pleased to hear a theremin in firth's works ,but a little creeped out to see that's the only exchange on the comment box. Rockmore was amazing.
I am so high.
