Hey, you're doing well technically, considering the stiffness and nervousness of your motion. I think you need to rework the basics or you'll be limiting yourself harshly. A great idea is to check out Dave's "A natural evolution" DVD. And practice playing very, very slow, being completely relaxed. Tensing up can help to play something when you HAVE TO play it now. But over time, it becomes a limiting habit.
Watch out for your right wrist, you might be bending it too much in a dangerous angle.

Your soloing is reckless with no real concept....the whole point isn't just to flail your arms around without playing notes or ideas.
The point is to make a musical statement.
Next time you listen to the original version of this song, you need actually transcribe what NOTES Weckl is playing...not just hear "vrooommmmmm" all over the toms, but figure out what he's saying musically.

Also, try to groove a bvit more, yea I'm sure thats going to be hard in a rock song, and yes, i cant hear what your doing exactly to make fair comment, but man, dynamic! I think that will really help you in your playing, try to feel the musicality of the song, and feed off it...other than that, pretty good show!
