omg... lol. no the yoyo is the dif-e yo crossbones (vid description -_-), a bind is what he does to make the yoyo come back up. pretty much every yoyo requires u to do that nowadays
if u r short on cash, then u should get an xconvict, about the same size as the crossbones but half the price, it's a very good yoyo, but the sleep time isn't as good as the crossbones. but if u r very into yoyoing, and u have the money, i would get the crossbones instead, it's totally worth the money. =)

It's called a "bind". Binds are required to return unresponsive yoyo's.

It is called a bind. It is used to make unresponsive yoyos return.
He is using a ball bearing yoyo. This will most likely not work on a fixed axle yoyo or a yoyo with a plastic sleeve.
