Perpahs read his book, Purpose Driven Life, which is an excellent book that has received much unjustified criticism from nay-sayers and those jealous of it's success. Most have never read it, including me, who used to rail against him until I took time to shut my mouth and open my eyes. As Rick said, you don't have to agree with someone 100% to work with them. It's ok to disagree.
I read PDL and found it to be so unscriptural with regards to rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15).
Furthermore, he does not confront sin. Arthur Pink is the antithesis to this. He also DOES NOT QUOTE the following: John Knox, John Owen, Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, and Arthur Pink. Yet he quotes Anais Nin.
Confronting sin is almost an impossible pill to swallow today.
