The Knight fall journal. That, hands down, is my favorite part of the 501st journal. I get chills every time I hear that journal. There's just something so chilling, so eerie about the way the clone trooper tells the story. I can't quite explain it, but it has such a greater impact than the other journals in the series. Thanks so much for uploading these!
This is the best, I always love to think about the wars from their point of view, the clones were used as Palpantine's pawns, fighting "the best" and the "worst of the war" getting blown up on two death stars, cut down in scores by Starkiller. All they knew was their orders, fighting alongside Jedi one moment, and gunning them down like livestock the next. They were a sad, sad group whose story doesn't get much attention paid to, I feel.
This was one of my favorite extras of Battlefront II. These are so detailed and well put together, they wouldn't look out of palace in our real world and our wars.
Imagine if in the Star Wars universe some schmuck was watching their equivalent of History Channel and they were doing a feature on the 501st, with these journals airing.
@darkness007666 They're both humans but to me do their lives are equall. I would say clones have cheap lives because all they do or meant to do is war. The advantage to a clone is the development in clone factories but it cost alot to deploy. The disadvantage would be always agreeing to orders.
Yeah and Morrison was also one of the only two clones in episodes 2 and 3 they just made copies of him and some other dude with the helmet off (but unfortunately, there was never any clone armor made) All of the armor that was seen in episodes 2 and 3 were just virtual and were never there.
The Knightfall journal entry is so sad. Especially from the view of a trooper, they were ordered to kill those who they had fought alongside with for years.
temuera morrison ,also the one who played jango fett in attack of the clones ,BUT to avoid confusion ,the screams and the WE'VE GOT DROIDS are not from him ,but he's done the journal and jango ,boba and a commander
no they were trained since they r born to be completly obedient ,and the order is coming from chancellor himself ,there is no way a clone will refuse the supreme autority
@luftwaffe789456123 it was only 3 years i beleive and they were following orders some didnt even like them from the start a couple did not follow order 66
Its kwl becuase in this game they talk about the 501st story and in renegade they talk about the unkown rebel teams story and the force unleashed talks about the birth of the rebelion
It was implanted into their genetic code, the Kaminoans had modified their genetics so much that they had almost no choice. The only clones were those who were not cloned/made properly
@Belcoot358 No it wasn't.Loyalty was. They were too loyal to the republic to disobey the orders but some of them did. There are ex-clone troopers in the rebbellion.
@dreadfake Most felt nothing, but a few that have deeper ties to the Jedi, such as being personal friends or secret husbands, have felt a lot of despair.
Well, also being that these troopers were CREATED for this purpose. Like most robot movies, the troopers knew they would do this sooner or later, but they may have formed bonds with the Jedi that gave them emotion.
"And they took all the credit too", Ha, it is funny because you never realize that the clones in episode 3 never get any credit.

After the defeat on Endor; the 501st was in shambles or in ruin. They became part of the remnant and changed from clones to aliens in the New Empire.

They should had said something when they marched in to jedi tample.
They had to do something. After all they owed their lives to the jedi.
Or was it inplanted in to their genetic code... that they had to follow order 66?

Contingency orders.
They had one for everything, even removing palpatine from office, or reducing allied planets to molten slag should they turn traitor.

do u no where I could find the orders?
link me...

a) Look for the Orders on Wookiepedia. That's right, WOOKIEpedia.
b) Read Hard Contanct (i think).
Only five of the hundred and fifty are shown.
