he looks really nice. I am just starting riding my 6 year old bareback. We ride bareback with just a halter and leadrope we have yet to canter though.. probably use a bridle for the first canter bareback xD

@silkybbe dont be scared its fun! you just have to keep your balance and canter is actually better than trotting bareback because you don't have all the jumping!

ummm i no u probabley dont ride western much or ur horse isint trained western but for western loosen up on his reins :) lovely horse and ur a good rider :)

Actually if you ride bareback that doesnt mean you can ride english, it is very hard but so is western

Western is mainly for beginners and for anybody..but,english is for Advanced riders..Or for anybody..but there is nothing to hold on to...and if you can ride bareback..you can defiinetely ride english!lol

I have never done a 'proper' collected canter bare back on my horse. I have galloped bare back though, i find it easier than trot. My horse has a very lazing trot but his canter is elasticated and really bouncy, I love him! Im gonna' get a video one day...

Its not that hard to train.

just make sure you sit right behing=d thier withers

TO start you can have some one hold you horse and you just sit on it eventully have the persond lead you around then trade to a bridle and ride like you always do, just bare back!
