Despite her ONE defeat at yesterday's Breeder's Cup Classic, she is still the same great creature she's always been. We all know that all the all-time greats have faced defeat at least once in their career, if not more often than that.

It's actually hard for me to choose because Rachel's owners have handled her better (as in going up against the boys and prooving that she can race multiple styles), but Zenyatta's performance in the Classic was one heck of a kicker!! I think she was robbed when she didn't get horse of the year, but it's gonna be one tough decision! Either way, both girls have made a serious indent in the history of racing. LUV THEM BOTH!!! ^o^

Thanks for an amazing tribute... I'm not really familiar with Zenyatta, never seen her in action, just heard that she thrashed our best contender Rip Van Winkle, and many other colts besides. Liking the style, especially the commentary mixed in with the audio =]
Would loved to have seen her race Sea the Stars- that would have been one for the history books, but I think she's earned her retirement!

It's actually hard for me to choose because Rachel's owners have handled her better (as in going up against the boys and prooving that she can race multiple styles), but Zenyatta's performance in the Classic was one heck of a kicker!! I think she was robbed when she didn't get horse of the year, but it's gonna be one tough decision! Either way, both girls have made a serious indent in the history of racing. LUV THEM BOTH!!! ^o^
