@MotweraCity True, it's a grey logo.. but as you start typing the logo comes to life (or rather comes to colour). Good work Google

Yes, it is true. Google Chrome browser makes my balls bigger. In fact, Google Chrome seems to make my balls more full looking and when I first open my browser, they bounce much more than they do with IE8...

I don't see any HTML5 when looking at the source. It looks like this effect is created with javascript.

There seems to be differences based on the browser you're using and your location.
The animation isn't quite as dynamic as the one in this video if you use Internet Explorer instead of Firefox
