I cried through the whole thing but when the little foal was laid in the stable with hay being dropped on it's face and it was looking round like 'huh' I laughed because that little thing just missed out on living a life of suffering.these people do an amazing job and deserve medals!

god bless the people of world horse welfare and the people who donate and anyone who helps these defenceless horses. its very disturbing to see the horses that were locked up and were suffered to death from 3:12-3:59. the owners should be locked up for that. im glad to see the other horses get a chance at life tho.

ignorance pure and simple. we were brought up with working horses. cattle and hunting mostly and the rule was and is the animals are fed and looked after before you even think about going in for a meal. I can't comprehend how a person can neglect a horse like this. Good work on the part of these people stepping in.

These videos are great to teach ppl abt responsibilities! Horses are living beings and once u own one it is UR responsibility until the horse is sold/gifted on or has passed away. Like human babies they need attention, love and a healthy diet! LOOK AFTER UR HORSE AS THEY R THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN SEE INTO UR HEART AND KNOW WHAT U FEEL/THINK!

Awe you guys are angels and I will be donateing to you, I didnt no you existed :( u must get your cause out there more! more! I have ten acres and 3 horses, I could have helped at least one :( but I'm selling up now and off to oz and I plan to relocate near charles angels horse rescue in QL where u can foster and help the orginisation. My current horses are all sorted with a life long home here where they stay, and I will fund when required so this will continue. I cant stick animal cruelty :(

It´s a pity that there is no german horse organization who does something like you all. I heard about a farm with now around 70 horses, there are also dead horses on the fields. Sadly also stallions and mares, with foals and so on. v.v

As shocking as this stuff is on Youtube, it can't be beat seeing it firsthand in person. I've witnessed the horror of seeing skinny horses, and unfortunately, in 2006, I was unlucky enough to be the first one to tell my stable owner that his prize cutting horse was dead. At least these horses are going to be okay now given a chance a new life.

this is horrible. Just the conditions the poor horses were living in, and the poor horses that lost their lives, its horid. It sort of reminds me of The Holocaust. The conditions are so similar, and the horses couldnt do any thing to save themselves.

we had something happen like this at a place near where i live. The lady abandoned all of her animals. Two were found dead in the barn and one in the pasture. This house is now for sale and i went into the barn and found huge holes in the wall... from where the horses were eating the wood because they were starving :(

There's no excuse for people to inflict this kind of suffering & neglect on animals.If people can't or won't care for their animals properly they should hand them over to a rescue organisation who can care for them until they can be re-homed with owners who will care for them properly.Charities like this who do so much good deserve all the help they can get. These poor horses suffered so much but I'm happy so many of them were rescued & given a happy new life. The owners should rot in hell.

I can't believe this person didn't get into serious trouble. What kind of proof is the government looking for? Is several dead and rotting carcasses not enough? What about all the skinny horses in the pasture with barely any food is that enough proof? I can't believe there are people who are like this. They have a sick mind. This is what irritates me soooo much....WHY not ask for help, if she was finding it difficult, help is there!! But blatant neglect and starvation!!! Was there a reason she couldnt see the dam horses needed help?? my family rehabilitates horses and judging by most of those in the video, they hadnt had a good meal in at least 6 months. Contrary to popular belief horses cant survive on one type of fodder, especially mash grass. They need multiple types of dry cut, protien fat and starch to live in an open herd setting.. I simply beleived is was a case of neglect until i saw the deceased ones in the barn. It's clearly blatant animal cruelty. Disgusting. God help us all...

i went to belwade farm about 3-4 weeks after the world horse welfare got these horses and seen these horses and you would not think that they had been through soo much and in those conditions. World horse welfare really do make a huge difference to horses lives and if you care about horses or you think these conditions are bad then you should donate some money because there are thousands of horses out the in worse conditions than that!

Well, the good news I guess is that the horses appear to be nicely built and intelligent. Hopefully they will be easy to place. I can't believe they couldn't get a conviction-- starved horse carcasses piled up next to round bales of hay? That is totally insane. I can see letting horses get thin without noticing, but surely when they start DYING you would catch on?!

The owner just couldn't afford the upkeep anymore, you can't blame her. I remember when I was having a hard time, I had to shoot my five horses and put them to sleep. sigh, you'll be missed my beautiful horses.

I cant believe this is literally 5mins drive away from where my mum lives and where i grew up. I worked for a woman who lived very close to this farm when i was 15 (6yrs ago) and she said she didnt like them because they didnt treat their horses well! Unfortunately its hard to see the farm and fields from the country lane.
