The narrations of Ad-Dajaal are narrations concerning 'Ilmul-Ghayb (knowledge of the unseen) and knowledge from the signs of the hour. Therefore you cannot use a weak or rejected Hadeeth to make a point, because are attributing something to the Prophet (SAWS) he did not say.

Suffice it to say, I have yet to see an authentic narration concerning the donkey of the Dajjaal and the span between his ears, as many of the scholars of Hadeeth have rejected them. So until one is proven to be authentic, we should not attribute such things to the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him). There are enough true and authentic prophecies without having to resort to unauthentic ones. And Allaah knows best.

Moreover, this is a widely understood concept that dajjaal was to come with a donkey, so although I appreciate your caution I too would like to point out...

The best of these narrations is from Musnad Ahmed on the authority of Jaabir Ibn 'Abdillaah (RA) who said that the Dajjaal riding a donkey, the width that is between his ears is the span of 40 arms, but this too is a weak narration. In the chain of the Hadeeth is Abu Az-Zubayr who is Muhammad Ibn Muslim, who although he is trustworthy, he often attributes a narration to one he did not hear from him directly. And in this narration, he did this. So it too is weak.
Similarly in another narration from Abu Hurayrah (RA) where he narrates that the Dajjaal will emerge on a while donkey, and the distance between his ears is 70 years, Shaykh Al-Albaani (May Allaah have mercy on him) said: "Its chain is extremely weak because in the chain is 'Abdil-'Azeez Ibn Yahyaa Al-Madanee. Al-Haafith (Ibn Hajar) said he is Matrook (meaning his narrations are not to be taken) and Ibraaheem Ibn Al-Munthir said he is a liar."
While I enjoy the fact that some have taken the opportunity to interpret this narration with some very creative insights, it would be more prudent, however, to check the authenticity of this narration.
After narrating the Hadeeth of 'Alee Ibn Abee Taalib where he states that the Dajjaal will emerge from Asbahaan on a donkey with a stumped tail, and what is between his ears is the distance of 40 arm spans, Ibn Katheer (May Allaah have mercy on him) said: "This chain is not authentic."

If you have come across religious scriptures... you may have also come across metaphor and other such literary devices being used...
So the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad(s), used the common mode of transportation... gives the donkey some features that are not naturally seen in a donkey... and makes a prophecy out of it to convey what he was told or shown by God.
You should have researched more about this before posting it. One hadith I know states that there will be smoking comming from in front and behind the donkey... I dont see smoke?
The reason why I made it grey was to create a contrast between the subject and the background which is white. Obviously, my resources were not that great, I only used paint and windows movie maker to make this, that serves as the reason of not including some of the other features...
For example the one about the donkey putting one foot on west and the other on east...
The reason why I made this asap was to share a graphical representation on youtube asap.
There are many hadiths that you have missed out, which would prove you wrong in many ways... therefore I have reason to believe that the donkey is infact the train... hense that smoke comes out of the train.
But in the end it doesn't really matter as long as we know that Dajjal is amongst us.
@AbroMaN124 The smoke refers to the steam engines. They used fire for power from coals, and thus steam was produced causing smoke to be emitted. The steam engine was the first modern means of transportation. Even now smoke is an inevitable result of combustion. Trains have smoke emitted in their fronts, but travels behind them because of the forward movement. Thus, the smoke in front and behind is a reference to the smoke trail.
yah sorry I had limited features on the program I was using and I wanted the dajjaal's Donkey to be more apparent so I used grey color instead. But yah.. the donkey is suppose to be of white color.

Baarakallaahu Feek Akhee, because I just went through both Saheeh Al-Bukhaaree's and Saheeh Muslim's book of Fitan and the Ahaadeeth concering the Dajjaal (in Arabic), and there is no mention of the Dajaal coming on a donkey. And other than the weak narrations I pointed out, I don't know of any authentic narrations concerning this. And if you can show me where you got the narration from their books, I will recant everything I said, I have no problem doing that; truth is more imporant than ego.

So I'm hoping that you are just ignorant of their books and have not intentionally attributed a lie to them. The burden of proof is on you to show me which Hadeeth in Saheeh Al-Bukhaaree and Saheeh Muslim you pulled this information about the Dajjaal and his donkey.

Being an Imaam and teacher of Uloom-ul-Hadeeth, I will tell you this, that when it comes to weak Ahaadeeth, it is not permissible to use them and rely on them especially when it comes to matters of 'Ibaadah and 'Aqeedah. The narrations of Ad-Dajaal are narrations concerning 'Ilmul-Ghayb (knowledge of the unseen) and knowledge from the signs of the hour. Therefore you cannot use a weak or rejected Hadeeth to make a point, because are attributing something to the Prophet (SAWS) he did not say.

Suffice it to say, I have yet to see an authentic narration concerning the donkey of the Dajjaal and the span between his ears, as many of the scholars of Hadeeth have rejected them. So until one is proven to be authentic, we should not attribute such things to the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allaah be upon him). There are enough true and authentic prophecies without having to resort to unauthentic ones. And Allaah knows best.

The best of these narrations is from Musnad Ahmed on the authority of Jaabir Ibn 'Abdillaah (RA) who said that the Dajjaal riding a donkey, the width that is between his ears is the span of 40 arms, but this too is a weak narration. In the chain of the Hadeeth is Abu Az-Zubayr who is Muhammad Ibn Muslim, who although he is trustworthy, he often attributes a narration to one he did not hear from him directly. And in this narration, he did this. So it too is weak.

Similarly in another narration from Abu Hurayrah (RA) where he narrates that the Dajjaal will emerge on a while donkey, and the distance between his ears is 70 years, Shaykh Al-Albaani (May Allaah have mercy on him) said: "Its chain is extremely weak because in the chain is 'Abdil-'Azeez Ibn Yahyaa Al-Madanee. Al-Haafith (Ibn Hajar) said he is Matrook (meaning his narrations are not to be taken) and Ibraaheem Ibn Al-Munthir said he is a liar."

While I enjoy the fact that some have taken the opportunity to interpret this narration with some very creative insights, it would be more prudent, however, to check the authenticity of this narration.
After narrating the Hadeeth of 'Alee Ibn Abee Taalib where he states that the Dajjaal will emerge from Asbahaan on a donkey with a stumped tail, and what is between his ears is the distance of 40 arm spans, Ibn Katheer (May Allaah have mercy on him) said: "This chain is not authentic."

that he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful....
the scholars say this hadith is hasan jiddan ( very sound)

But I would like to understand this hadith further under the light of various incidents from the life of the Holy Prophet(s).. like for example when huzur(s) came to madina for the very first time... people there were so happy that the girls/women came out and sang a poem...
Tala'al badru alaina min thaniyyaati lwadaa'
Wajabasshukru alaina ma da'allaahi daa'
etc.
with this they were also beating an instrument which is a disk type on which you beat your hands.

@Pua8 Islam has also at places disliked poetry.. whereas the Quran itself is an amazing/miraculous masterpiece of poetry.
I have always thought that lyrics and instruments are two shores of the same sea.
My viewpoint here becomes that huzur(s) discouraged the use of poetry/ instruments to for sacreligious purposes and for inciting excitement.... or for even religious activites such as prayers etc.
The use of mild music is same as poetry... just there for emphasizing a point.

If you have come across religious scriptures... you may have also come across metaphor and other such literary devices being used...
So the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad(s), used the common mode of transportation... gives the donkey some features that are not naturally seen in a donkey... and makes a prophecy out of it to convey what he was told or shown by God.

You should have researched more about this before posting it. One hadith I know states that there will be smoking comming from in front and behind the donkey... I dont see smoke?

The reason why I made it grey was to create a contrast between the subject and the background which is white. Obviously, my resources were not that great, I only used paint and windows movie maker to make this, that serves as the reason of not including some of the other features...
For example the one about the donkey putting one foot on west and the other on east...

There are many hadiths that you have missed out, which would prove you wrong in many ways... therefore I have reason to believe that the donkey is infact the train... hense that smoke comes out of the train.
But in the end it doesn't really matter as long as we know that Dajjal is amongst us.

@AbroMaN124 The smoke refers to the steam engines. They used fire for power from coals, and thus steam was produced causing smoke to be emitted. The steam engine was the first modern means of transportation. Even now smoke is an inevitable result of combustion. Trains have smoke emitted in their fronts, but travels behind them because of the forward movement. Thus, the smoke in front and behind is a reference to the smoke trail.

I reckon the submarine is what is referred to when stated dajjal's transport will sit at the bottom of the ocean and it will be as if the ocean came above his ankles. the yacht has no means to sit at the bottom of the ocean and see what is happening above water level whereas you can with a submarine.
