  • This was hella cool. I actually put this up onto my facebook. Thanks for making this, your fist is strong.

  • 10 persons are already dead

  • Wow. Been a while since I listened to this song. Like years. lol.

'THIS TAKES ME BACK' hurr hurr.

  • Kawaii desu ne!

  • Yeah defintely older Ken is a way more brutal badass than when he was younger which is like an impossible thing to do but yeah somehow Kenshiro made it happen lol.

  • did they remaster the shin saga?

  • Just bits and pieces; this one is a brand new story, it takes place after the events of the original series, and Kenshiro is now in his 40's, but even more powerful than before. How the hell is that possible? Fictional martial arts dealing with "chi" generally mean, said martial artists in fact get more dangerous with age, they don't decline, hence why the older Kenshiro is in fact more dangerous than the younger version.

  • where the bloody shit can I find the ovas?

  • Several of them are here on youtube, and others are in torrents. I've found all of them these two ways

  • such hostility...

  • Fist of the northstar doesn't seem as kid friendly as DZB ever was (even though parts of DBZ are anything but kid friendly) still Animes/mangas and media in general that manages to ride that median between entertaining and non-offensive they tend to be very successful.

With a smidge of editing DBZ was approrpiate for all audiences and yet still remained attractive to more mature audiences

  • Yes ithey tried multiple times all failed to my knowledge. I had the only 2 volumes released in the first effort

  • To be fair, the Viz volumes took forever to come out, considering they published the manga as a monthly comic book before releasing the graphic novel compilations, so its unsurprising that they only got to the Jagi arc before people lose interest (which wasn't even a second year arc when it was originally published in Japan).

The colorized edition from Raijin Comics came out at a faster rate, but I don't think the high prices per book ($20) attracted many readers who weren't already a convert.

  • Exactly but also back then there wasnt much of a market for Manga either

  • bad song..... try something of stratovarius...

  • Dargon Force rulze

  • cool video but the music is horrible

  • New Fist of the North star may have been lacking in the plot department but it was the first time I saw the tone Fist of the North Star manga Faithfully & unflinchingly depicted. Therefore it has earn a fond place in my heart. I have all 3 ep on one DVD Bought it off of Blockbuster.

  • Dragonforce is so bad...

New Fist of the North Star is awesome, though.

  • Damn Straight they are Bad... BADASS! BOTH OF THEM. This song and series are a perfect match!

  • No.

This song is a horrible match because those vocals are completely cheesy.

  • vocals arent everything. I like this song. And think it fits the series well.

  • I'm well aware that vocals aren't everything involved in music. IMO a much more brutal metal band would fit 100x better.

  • How about the most BRUTAL band in the world Dethklok!

  • if its a whole lot of mindless yelling and monster like vocals, then throw that crap in the garbage, cant stand that deathmetal crap.

  • The vocals are over the top deathmetal but Man the actuall music is awesome. ITs ment to be a parody of/sendoff to deathmetal

  • first of all this isnt death metal. dragonforce is more fantasy metal. very soft compaired to something like slayer. both bands formentioned are amazing though as is FOTNS

  • First off i wasnt Talking about Dragonforce they are speed metal I was talking about Dethklok they are deathmetal i was replying to 9sunskungfu we were discussing Dethklok

  • oh didnt know dethklok is good shit too

  • actually it's referred to as POWER METAL. At least that's what I've heard the Genre called.

  • They prefer to be called "Extreme Power Metal" Dragonforce can't even play their songs live, shit band in my opinion.

  • im sure plenty of people cant stand you. :D

  • enough about your life moron,we dont want to know about it :D

  • ok im sure you allready have a dick in your mouth now all you needs 2 for each hand. that way you cant type or talk faggot :D

  • Hey faggot,i dont want to know what you do in your spare time...which is obviously when you;re not typing or talking, stop tryin to tell me about it,im not interested. little fag lol :D

  • lol Kenshiro the badass needs no effort on weaklings

  • what the hell, i know you did not just say that lol.

  • Mel Gibson would make a great Kenshiro.

  • he reminds me of chad xD

  • cool, i just started watchign the old fists of the north star i got of my friend for free im on the 3rd disc of 6, i think its the whole series..this movie looks awsoem, just shwos how good the classic manga can be when it is re=animated !!!

  • I seriously would like to see The original series redone as a straight manga Adaptation. Uncensored and no filler. I mean as a real series like they did Guyver not as an OVA Movie series.

  • when is anybody gonna upload neww episodes of the new fist of the north star

  • Watch it on DVD!

  • HugE BaLLs

  • SWEET!

  • Very cool

  • Does anyone have a clue when this is going to be translated for American viewing, I'm a big fan of the original series and am looking for some info! Great vid.

  • It's been out in english for quite a while now.

  • @pwntor dont get the New FotNS, they are shit and dont follow the story. Get the subtitled versions of Raoh den and the next 3 ovas, they follow the Souther arc, Yuria, Toki arc, and then Raoh final battle, and the animation + music is 10x better than this. This was just crap trying to cash in on the franchise.

  • stunning guitar riffs on this track!! thx

  • great job

  • this is a kool video and the song fits the watered down blood and guts in this to me it just doesnt seem to match the brutality of the anime film of the same name it just doesnt give off the same feel of post apocalyptic war and suffering and sorrow and despair this one is all pritty drawings and colours like dragonball z and to me seems a bit micky mousey

  • yeah i agree this is nowhere near as bleak as it should

  • why and where did he get the holes in his chest

  • Kenshiro got those holes in his chest from his former friend Shin because he wanted Kenshiro's love Julia for himself. He was going to kill him, but he instead gave him the scars to remind him who is strong and who is weak.

  • He was penetrated by some blonde guys finger there who grew up with him, but survived it.

  • @Tormentor That sounds really bad.

  • @Zoroelsabiente In retrospect, yes it does :D.

  • Exploding heads? Can someone explain?

  • Its an anime based on martial art styles that instantly kill. In many of the attacks a person would suffer internal bleeding that brings on trauma and death. In this anime the same concept is used but to emphasis the lethality of the attacks instead of having people fall over relatively unharmed like in real life, their heads explode. Also it might have to do with excessive radiation fallout from the nuclear war, you everyone mutants to have explosive brains and no skulls.

  • good explaination.=)

  • not from radiation as the style of hokuto no ken has been around for more than 1000 years.

  • ward sennes, ill explain it for you its fantasy, thats why their heads go boom. not that hard to figure out

  • If I remember right, but it has been awhile since i've seen it, the science they used in the anime was it supposed to block off some blood vessels and the blood continues to flow and gather in a single area until pop.

  • @WardSennes Well you know how in Dragonball, Naruto, and other manga people are shooting fireballs and other crazy shit at eachother, well these guys leave it inside your body when they make physical contact with you, with explosive results.

  • @Gokiza

That's... not entirely correct. Hokuto Shinken is a martial art that is loosely based upon the concepts of Dim Mak in real martial arts.

Dim Mak in martial arts is the concept that one can kill his foe with less than lethal force. Usually Dim Mak would entail hitting a foe in a specific pressure point on their body that will eventually cause their death.

This death could happen years down the road though, which is why it's so hard to prove whether Dim Mak actually works or not.

  • @Vladislak

Hokuto Shinken however, seems to have... Well sped up the process to take seconds rather than months or years. The creators of Hokuto no ken seem to have just wanted to do this in a more dramatic, violent way.

  • yo moron if u ever wayched hokuto no ken than ull understand wats the reason, its closer to some amrtial arts than any bullshit that is produced these days

  • wohooo :D great song and amazing video

    nice one ^^

  • lol I think its funny how Ken's super fast fists seem to be going in time with the super fast drums.

  • I take that back, it took a little to grow on me, but I now love this video.

  • Enjoyable. To be honest, I wouldn't have thought joyous metal would fit so well with that material.
