  • my sound don't work, how many foot rope is that. i am gonna get me one. for myself and hopefully my son, when he gets older. i had talk to john about this. i should of listened to him few years ago.

  • Hey acas1959, being lean has nothing to do with his strength or power. There are lots of overweight or downright fat guys that are strong as hell. Also, not every guy that is overweight is a slow lardass. I knew a heavyweight wrestler in high school who could match the bottom weight classes in sprinting and stamina. I personally wouldn't want to be overweight, but for some people being very strong takes precedence over looking good.

  • Picked up my rope recently and performed my maiden workout yesterday, WOW! I'm humbled. the vid of me sucking wind is on my channel lol :) Thanks again John for bringing the Battling Ropes to life, awesome workout!

  • This may be one of the most effective training tools for arm, forearm and grip strength, not to mention core stabilization. The cardio and endurance value is second to none. This guy could crush your hand like a bag of chips. Don't knock it till you try it! $ 200 on a rope is a wise investment, remember you are paying for priceless fitness knowledge that will put you in a much higher category than those who just fight thinking outside the proverbial box.

  • Average Bodybuilders may have well sculpted physiques, But lack real raw Strength & Power.

Most Power lifters & Strongmen may not have that Six pack ab & well defined look But have real manly strength & power. It's all what you want to attain in your own program.

  • I saw Mr. Brookfield present this technique at a Florida conference. The speed and force he puts on the rope must be seen to be imagined.

  • I've done 2 min and 20 sec on these. Its a killer workout.

  • what does your routine look like. do you do these every day. how long do you train with these. i am gonna order some, and i want to know how much to train, dont like overtraing

  • Needs to loose the GUT and apply the wonders of rope training to himself

Coach John Brookfield wants $200 for a piece of rope and a DVD

  • Go lookup John Brookfield you dumbfuck this guys a legend he dozens of world records, let alone Captains of crush grippers. This guy is a endurance feat record holder. Learn whats strong rather then lookign at bodybuilders who couldent hold a candle to this man

  • you ever actually look at prices on 2" manilla rope? that's a huge chunk of material and will easily run around $150 for that length from any industrial supply house if they even stock it.

also, learn who john brookfield is...
