@Support7thst are you one of those people who mistook that ayah that said "kill them where you find them" if you read the ayah before and after it, it says "if they drive you out of your land then kill them where you find them but stop if they stop because allah loves not the transgressor"

Imagine everyone praying to a different direction? we avoid dis-unity by all aiming towards one direction. If we really did worship this "block", we would not stand on top of it (as they used to before to call people to prayer). If you were generally concerned, i hope this clarified it for you. Lets say the "center of pray" would be in Africa. Then the people in South America would pray to the East.

People in North America to the Northeast, people in Europe would pray to the South and so on.

You pray to the same point, not to the same direction.
