@Trebgah We're talking about pets, stick to the subject. More than 2 million cats and dogs are euthanized in the U.S. alone because there are just too many of them crowding shelters and not enough people adopting them. This is why I think letting your cat breed is pretty irresponsible.
@itsmegp46 I understand but what's wrong with having wild cats and dogs? Sure they might be hit by cars but only when there isn't anywhere else for them to live! I live in California so I see more and more natural habitats being destroyed so that it can make houses for overpopulation in California.

But there's always some good parts of each side and I believe that there should be at least some natural habitats in urban areas where there can be wild animals without a bunch of people trying to build ugly condos and stuff like that there. I don't have a problem with dog-catchers and cat-catchers and so forth as long as they're only catching the strays in urban areas and cities.

@kohhuiyu Thats a common myth created so kids wont constently bug the mother and her young. If the mother catches your scent on her young and she doesnt want you near them she will often just move her kittens somewhere else, not ditch them, incase thats what you were infering too.
If you are refering to bacteria, I'd agree. Wash your hands before and after handling young kittens :)
@marafi Okay, you don't want to do that. I have a cat who's very, very tiny because she gave birth to kittens at such a young age and it stunts their growth then.
You'll want to wait until she's full grown to avoid health problems.

the youngest kitten ive ever had here had an infection in its left eye and it didnt open for a week after the vet said ti was supposed to but hes here and living happily his eye is fine

@Geordles yeah, tom cat will kill a kitten just to get the mother in heat again so the tom can pass on his own gene. I've only read in a book where there was only one "Nice" tom cat that treated some kittens like if it was his own.

@Qwalkson i have newborn kittens as long as their mother is there or you are feeding them with formula u get at a pet store (unless they are weened) and unless they are too old and/or are using the bathroom fine and unless their mother is there put a soft warm washcloth or paper towel on them they will relax and potty, they should be fine and healthy :)
@Shielarox4444 thank you for the comment. we have raised the "kitten" now, he had no mum. we found him abandond so raised him from there. we used the formula and helped him go to to the loo ( poop )

My cat, Mouse, gave birth to two little babies on April 13th 2010. I was so stunned what I found under my mom's bed that i nearly fainted, but I held in there. So after three days, I moved them both to the biggest closet in my house. But the mom kept trying to bring them back under the bed. But then after a few hours, she settled in with the two babies in the closet. But now they are gone with there new owners now. But now the mother cat is pregnant again, so just waiting on those little angels.
One of the orange ones remind me of my cat Oliver when he was a newborn kitten, he was the runt and nobody wanted him, so I took him he was so adorable back then, now he is 3 yrs old :)
She so reminds me of our former cat Copy, she was a very good mother to her kittens; she even let us handle them and the father was a good father to his kittens; So, what did you do with these little ones after they matured?
im having memories of when i was in sixth grade. woke up one morning to these tiny sounds that turned out to be kittens meowing. the momma cat had kittens in my bedroom overnight. four little cuties.

@Geordles plz answer. at what age did the outher cats pass away/die ? and do you know why they passed away/died. because i have rescued a new born kitten. hes about 4-5 days old. and im just wondring wether he will live. He is feeding fine. going to the toilet fine sleeping fine ect. im just looking for some advice. thank you for your time. :)

@Qwalkson Sorry... was avoiding the question. They died at about three weeks old. It was tomcat related. Not a nice story to share with the video...

@Geordles yeah, tom cat will kill a kitten just to get the mother in heat again so the tom can pass on his own gene. I've only read in a book where there was only one "Nice" tom cat that treated some kittens like if it was his own.

@Qwalkson yeah i had the same story and my kitty i rescuedand she passed and all i have to tell you is take him to a vet and they will save him i didnt do that and i am sorry that i didnt

@Qwalkson i have newborn kittens as long as their mother is there or you are feeding them with formula u get at a pet store (unless they are weened) and unless they are too old and/or are using the bathroom fine and unless their mother is there put a soft warm washcloth or paper towel on them they will relax and potty, they should be fine and healthy :)

@Shielarox4444 thank you for the comment. we have raised the "kitten" now, he had no mum. we found him abandond so raised him from there. we used the formula and helped him go to to the loo ( poop )
He is now a big fluffy thing :D

My cat, Mouse, gave birth to two little babies on April 13th 2010. I was so stunned what I found under my mom's bed that i nearly fainted, but I held in there. So after three days, I moved them both to the biggest closet in my house. But the mom kept trying to bring them back under the bed. But then after a few hours, she settled in with the two babies in the closet. But now they are gone with there new owners now. But now the mother cat is pregnant again, so just waiting on those little angels.

One of the orange ones remind me of my cat Oliver when he was a newborn kitten, he was the runt and nobody wanted him, so I took him he was so adorable back then, now he is 3 yrs old :)

u know ALL kittens are born with blue eyes but change quickly. sometimes u cant even see the blue eyes cause there eyes dont open for a while

Still if u touch the kitten the mom will smell the oil or smell ur smell and wont feed them anymore. Ask a vet if u dont Belive me.

im having memories of when i was in sixth grade. woke up one morning to these tiny sounds that turned out to be kittens meowing. the momma cat had kittens in my bedroom overnight. four little cuties.

aww, Mommy's a tortoiseshell, one of the kittens was sucking on her thumb, the other one nestled under her chin. my cat had a male tortoiseshell we were all surprised, because there is a gene that makes most female we love them all.
