  • I meant bass clef. Though I need to learn both, I guess :)

  • Dang. I can't play piano (hardly even one hand at a time, so...). I guess I'll just have to play the top hand part by itself on the violin. Though I do really need to learn alto clef...

  • Love love love..fantastic! Brilliant!

  • I am determined not to use sheet music for this because I want to learn it by ear, but what is the first note that is usually sung by the vocalist?

  • I loved this at the Doctor Who Proms when they had the whole Orchestra of Wales playing it. It's such a powerful piece :')

  • Thanks you for this :) I can just see the Doctor saying "we're all stories in the end" *sob*

  • i hope there's a flute version o this i play flute myself, and this peice a a duet for flute would be awesome for me and my flute teacher. (currently practicing for grade 1)

  • Anyone got a single-piano version?

  • Does anyone have a version of this which a flute can play so that it still slightly resembles what it is supposed to sound like. Flutes can't play below middle C and can't play chords (obviously).

I know it's asking for a lot, but does any such thing exist?

  • @SpazTechIndustries - standard concert C flute? If so, I might have a go at it - as an exception. ;-)

  • @SpazTechIndustries flutes are tuned like a piano. so just use oiano music and transpose it an octave higher

  • @REINEJAK012 The problem with that is that flutes can't play chords so you'd have to spend ages removing them and ensuring that the single notes leftover are the ones that have the main tune.

Anyway, I have already received an excellent flute version so it doesn't matter any more.

  • I'm crying right now! The playing is amazing but I'll never be able to learn any doctor who pieces properly by my GCSE performance next year! I might give Rose's Theme a go but I WANTED TO DO MAD MAN WITH A BOX

  • love love love love.

    Solo version? PLEAASSEE?

  • Are you done with Vale Decem yet? I'd love to hear it!!!

  • @SummerRain210 - actually, there's no progress since the answer I gave to spindw. :-/ Haven't had time for any piano arrangement since I uploaded An Untimely Arrival. More likely to have some time at some point in winter, but no promises.

  • Beautiful!!!!!!

  • Love this song

  • Learning the solo version! Its hard AND beautiful!

  • @TheCedmiston98 Ok :) I'll do it tomorrow when I can get hold of a printer (mine's run out of ink)

  • @TheCedmiston98 I could print it off, write letters above the notes and scan it back in and send it to you if you want (that way you can see the rhythms too). Though it's for two pianos, so you'd need a friend to play it with.

  • Doctor-"The pandorica! Hehe Thats just a fairytale".

    River-"Aren't we all sweety".

  • Or at least the beginning part does

  • This one sounds more like The Sad Man With A Box.

  • Another wonderful arrangement! Do you think you'll ever do Vale Decem? I've heard some decent arrangements, but i'd love to see what you did with it. Thank you for sharing your talent!

  • @spindw - and thanks for listening and commenting. :-) I've been working on Vale Decem for quite a while, with Vale as introduction. Vale is working nicely at the moment. Vale Decem, not so much. It's a tough one to make work just decently on piano - even two pianos. But sometime, probably. Like I said above, though, I don't have much time lately. :-)

  • simply amazing love it
