Yeah I know - Ive been to the UK before, I know exactly how small it is. That still makes no difference to me. I study physics (Including nuclear physics) at university, and I have studied the US and British series of testing quite extensively. I know exactly how dangerous it is and the risks involved and I believe Britain overstepped its mark in directly testing on foreign soil; and ESPECIALLY 'cheeky' when they refuse to compensate illness or damage as a direct result of the tests.

The only thing 'unstable' is the test site at Maralinga. And perhaps you can comment as to the cancer cluster of ex-servicemen and veterans that were in the British and Australian forces? They were knowingly exposed to radiation, declassified MoD documentation has since revealed that. And tower shots can only reduce the amount of fallout, not remove it entirely.
