A computer is nice BUT the physical act of writing out your ideas helps cement them in your brain so your subconscious recognizes they are real and need to be thought about.
What... all this high tech, fancy pants, richie dich, altimate time savers that are on the market, and you tell us that a sheet of A4 and a Bic is the Most Important Tool.
You're right of course, infact I have been taking notes that way since the 1st 30DC, and I have so many, I'm thinking of packaging them onto CDs, then selling them on eBay!! That should clear the desk. Thanks Mate!
Ed, such a simple bit of advice but so powerful. We all need plenty of clarity in this game and a bit of forward planning goes a long way. I have a note book in every room!
I always have a pen/paper handy every where I go. And beside my bed at night. Some of my best ideas have come in the middle of the night. Have a great day......Rick
How right you are Ed! There's nothing like a bit of brain storming and mind mapping with good old-fashioned pen and paper. Actually I usually just add one item to that - a high-lighter.. :-) Derek
So very true and often overlooked, a pen and paper!, I have to admit i'm very bad at planning, which is probably the reason I get stuck all the time, maybe I need to adopt the methods in this video on a daily basis to plan my day?.

Couldn't agree more about the pen & paper part. Something very different happens when you physically write it out and let it flow onto paper...
Incredible video quality btw.. impressed.

Yep, your right Ed. It all starts with an idea.

yeah I agree, I sometimes lie down in bed and while trying to fall asleep I get these cool ideas without even wanting too.
