@Tastaalex the game doesnt come with a storch cockpit so whoever did the mod just stuck in a p-39 cockpit as a placeholder until someone wants to make a storch cockpit themselves. Otherwise you're stuck flying in an external view.

@henryhenrybradley You can take off, aviate, land and have successful bombing runs with just the keyboard, but it's almost impossible to dogfight without a joystic. Let me put it this way: i played online for three months using only keyboard, i could fly & bomb just fine but i only scored 2 kills in air to air combat. during this period of time.

@MrH1tler Because the game doesn't include a cockpit for the Storch so you will be stuck with an external view only. The P39 cockpit was a placeholder with the AAA mod pack until someone went about designing a proper storch cockpit.

at stormy weather and full speed on the carrier you can even take off "vertically" from the carrier and fly slower than it's moving, it's pretty fun to do, even if the turbulences nearly knock you out of the sky.

not many of the aircraft have airbrakes as far as I know except things like the Stuka. You can use landing flaps in some cases if you need to slow down on a descent. Landing brakes should work. Try assigning it to a different key I guess. Maybe you have overlapped keys bound?

go in the full mission builder, go to objects menu and go to the drop-down, click Ships, then click the ship you want. Then you place it by holding CTRL and clicking on the map, you can use waypoints for it as well and change the speed.

yea you can do that if you want. you could just go into full mission builder and place a plane somewhere then fly around on whichever map you want or you could do quick mission builder but you would only have 3 map choices doing it that way.

I tried a carrier landing with the Storch not long ago. It was much more similar to a carrier landing with a helicopter than a rolling landing with a plane. The Storch touched down going no more than 10-20 kmh faster than the speed of the carrier. I got it on my first try, I took off, looped around, landed on the same carrier again, took off, landed on a different carrier, and I got bored and tried landing a Spitfire.

I didnt edit myself though, it's the cockpit chosen by AAA in their AAA Unified Installer. it's basically a large mod package with all sorts of cool mods that makes almost all planes flyable, realistic cloud mods, better windshield oil splotches, the list goes on. check out allaircraftarcade(.)com

you can´t simply convert. ntrk files is an il2 format, which recorts the flight paths, so that you can change the viws. You have to use ascreen recorder like fraps

The carrier was just one of the carriers in the full mission builder that I placed on the map for various aircraft landing practice (it's great practice for learning to land in very little space) I tried to make a video landing a C-47 without an arresting hook but after 7 tries I quit, haha.
