It still makes her look like a hypocrite when you spent 25 years bashing the man then all of a sudden after he dies she acts like he was her best friend. It's bullshit. A classy woman would have left him and then let it go but she went on every talk show from 1975 on and talked all kinds of crap about him. Just made her look bad.

Cher badmouthed Sonny every chance she got and showing up at his funeral crying made me lose all respect for this hypocrite. She now has to go though life with a rubber face.

was that. It is hard to stop loving that man despite his faults - but she felt she had to do

what was best for her in the end. Hard as it was because she loved him - it was painful.

I was there that day 3 years ago today. October 29, 2008. Missy Elliott and the PCD were also on the show. It actually aired 11/04 election day. (note the shirt) I heard what was actually said between breaks etc.

She was very sweet but I could tell was a bit awkward in the conversation flow. Just my observation between her and Ellen's chemistry that day.

Human relationships are complicated, and Sonny & Cher's relationship was even more complicated due to their fame. I think they loved each other always - long after they got divorced. Sometimes love isn't enough. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz had the exact same dynamic - and nearly the same circumstances. It's nice that both of these couples left a legacy for the public that showed how they felt for one another. You cannot fake that kind of chemistry.

That's much more likely than the Russian mob as it was very unlikely that meth was being imported from Europe in 1998 with the ready availability of over the counter psuedoephedrine in the US until 2005. Even stopping that OTC stockpile from getting into the hands of meth makers only sent the adjunct maufacture to Mexico, not as far as Europe. Much more likely that it was the wives. umm, how does someone sign someone to a contract without having an 'interest' in a corporation or an LLC? i totally agree with divahayleylouise.. she's been living with the guy for more than eight years and was married to him at that same period and she did love him like what naturally comes along when you're that close to a person.. and whatever resentment came up between them, it's totally natural for two people getting divorced and probably a must to survive it.. but that doesn't mean her feelings weren't REAL..

The chemistry was still there after all those years apart. It was like hitting a switch, and 'boom' Sonny and Cher, became "Sonny & Cher."

Sonny was a sweet man, talented, a great songwriter, and a lousy husband. He was never faithful to Cher, she once walked in on him in the kitchen with his secretary. He had Cher signed to a seven year contract, where she was working for him, and had no interest in the Corporation. After the divorce, she had to pay him $2 Million for breaking up the act, which took her years to pay off. For as much as they bickered, they were always in touch. She loved him-but it was complicated.

have u ever read their divorce file? they were both employees of this cher enterprises the law states, at least in california, that everything is split evenly when u divorce. she had nothing to worry about in that respect. she let him run their business and he signed contracts well in to the future. he didn't see the curve coming. court obviously sided with him. saw an interview somewhere on utube and cher said sonny had been a good husband. i think it was rosie what's her names old show.
