I agree, but Disney wanted to make sure it got a 7+ rating in Sweden that they decided to cut the movie themselves before dubbing instead of letting the Swedish board rate/cut it and risking it getting a higher rating.

You know, the black cauldron (in swedish) only got one dub, it never got redubed.

Anyway, it's nice to see these scenes. ^^

Yes it did, this one is dubbed by Sonet Studios AB 1985 with Erik Lindgren as Taran, the new dub was dubbed by Sun Studio A/S in 1998 with Nick Atkinson as Taran. ^^

True, but I can't see what's so hard to understand about "Deleted Scenes in Swedish Original Dub", since that IS the title, not mislabeled.

And if you click on a video because the title was interesting, if it wasn't what you expected, read the description, it it makes sense then, there is no need to comment saying otherwise, right?

@Svenskdubbning I suppose, except why put a title that isn't what he video is about? Isn't that kind of like false advertising? No matter which way you slice it, not of these scenes are DELETED SCENES at all. That is what people are looking for when they watch this video and they will be disappointed. I have nothing against the video per se, but the title is misinforming and saying the truth in the description does not make up for it.

For people who watched the first Swedish dub in theaters and own a copy of it, these ARE deleted scenes, they were probably CUT before dubbing, so they are deleted scenes FOR US. That isn't misinforming. I just wrote it in English so I wouldn't get comments asking wtf this video is up here for, but apparently I overestimated people's reading abilites.

This video is nothing too exciting nor rare, but I decided to upload it anyway.

These are all the scenes in the movie that Disney deleted before it aired in Swedish theaters in 1985, these scenes have never been aired with the original Swedish dub, and it's unkown if they were even dubbed in the first place.

I used the original English version instead of the Swedish re-dub for easier understanding.

They have taken out some other scenes from the American one as well. Most notable a man dissolved by the mist, and I think there was one of the princess's skirt getting ripped or soemthing, and one of the deleted scenes left a big gap in the audio of the movie. I really wisht hey kept the movie in its entirety..

Yeah, I really hope that Disney includes the deleted scenes in the Special Edition DVD when it comes out, if only they would stop ignoring this great movie.

There's no reason not to include them since they are animated and done, so what if they're "scary"...

I know right? This movie would've been so much better and scarier if they did include that part with the man dissolved by the mist. Apparently most of the scenes cut out werewith the Cauldron Born. And the part where the audio skips is where a Cauldron Born cuts off a man's head and torso or something haha.

Hade du läst kommentarerna hade du märkt att dessa scener är bortklippta i ORIGINAL-dubben, inför VHS-utgåvan dubbade de om filmen oklippt, samma dubbning är med på DVD-utgåvan. ^^

Det är mycket möjligt, dock är det svårt att veta exakt vad jag ska lägga upp, filmen har ju mindre självklara enskilda scener att plocka ut än övriga Disney-filmer. ^^

Lägg gärna ut några klipp på den Hornkrönte t. ex. Jag dör av iver att få höra hans röst i originalet. Jag kan nämligen inte ta hans röst seriöst i omdubben eftersom han har samma röst som Kalaspuffarnas maskot.

Visst, ska försöka fixa några klipp av den Hornkrönte, tillsammans med de andra karaktärerna, antingen där han sitter på sin tron, eller kanske mot slutet nånstans.

Den Hornkröntes röst i omdubben är riktigt hemsk, men så är ju filmen även dubbad av Sveriges sämsta dubbningsbolag, så det är ju inte många röster som är bra.

The DVD doesn't include the original Swedish dub from 1985, but a re-dub made in 1998 for the VHS release. The original dub have only been shown in theaters once. ^^

Yeah, all characters had different voices, and the dub is amazing, a lot better than the one on VHS/DVD. I'm very fortunate to own the original dub. ^^
