  • You have an adorable poodle! I am getting a toy poodle for christmas and I hope that he is as cute as you toy poodle(though HE will not be giving birth anytime soon!!!)

  • I have a chocolate toy poodle and his tail is much, much shorter, like a stump. Is your a particular type that makes her tail longer?

  • @adstargel You know that they ummm, kind of cut the tails a few weeks in(2 or 3)

  • so weird how animals eat the placenta

  • @taniafatbitch32 only part that grossed me out, the rest was cute and amazing

  • @taniafatbitch32

Humans are the only animals who DON'T eat the placenta.

  • soooo cutee :)

yuhr toy poodle is long lol , long nose , long legs , but alas ., shes beatiful <3

&& how did yuh know they were chocolate nd not black ??

  • it is a buetifull sight watching a new baby entering the world:)

  • of course any living being giving birth is a beautiful sight... but watching and HEARING the mother poodle like the pup out of her own.... well yea. i heeded the graphic warning and was alright with that but dogs really can and WILL lick anything and everything.

  • haha ewww why am i watching this

  • 0:42 Haha its another chocolate one! (yummy)

  • are they not protective of they puppies?

  • I was so amazed at how lively that puppy was. He was itching to be moving before he was even all the way out! lol.... ♥

  • Such a good mommy breaking open the sacks and biting the cords. When my chi went into labor she wouldnt break the sacks or bite the cords, i had to break the sacks and cut the cords with sissors, only then would she eat what was left. Such a mess but i felt like i had a purpose.

  • She's a good Mom getting them out of their placenta so fast! :D

  • Chuck Norris Is Born

  • awwww... me and my friend say its incredible such A great mom! Go oliva!!!

  • ha... boris...

  • @mreddieweddie I know I was thinking the same thing! Dogs are unique like that though.

  • how wierd how dogs know what to do while giving birth

  • Lovely to see you letting mum do it by herself!

  • a you guys talking kinda made it grose when you talked

  • that was cool

  • do dogs like... naturally know to bites off the bag that the baby's in? cuz my toy poodles probably gonna give birth in a few days and like... what if she doesnt know..

  • @Himynameisricardo

its instinct, dogs automatically know what to do when they give birth just like humans do

HOPE THE BIRTH GOES WELL !!!!

  • Poodles make me happier than anything else on earth.

  • my poodle is pregnant, any advice for when the puppys come?

  • @hbmshow advice:no,N0,NO company for atleast 2 weeks.mom needs time to adjust.:)(i own a poodle to.)POODLE!:D

  • Wow. I have 2 toy poodle females and they had puppies one week apart. And my odler one Maya had 3, at first then 3, then 2. My other is her first time and she had 3. They both didnt need help. Do you have to help them?

  • Awww how adorable. She kinda looks like a maltipoo...

  • stupid question, but did mom give any indication of pain or anything?

  • how ckutee!!!

  • toll , malzu sehen , wie die Welpen kommen.

  • did i just watch a poodle birth?.... O.o

  • @Fucksvensker Um it appears so. :P

  • so cute!!!!

  • beautiful

  • Thats great. I love the way you all are encouraging her. Where is the delivery of pup # 1,2,4, and 5 as well as post birth bonding. Don't tell just a fraction of a storey and leave us hanging!

  • im sorry but that is not a toy poodle it looks like a mini

  • was this her first litter?

  • i wonder if fitting something out five times the size of a small hole would be painful.

  • some do....

  • That is just cute!!!

    Das ist einfach nett!

  • actually there is a woman that you give the placenta to and she freeze dries it into pills you can take. This helps with depression and alot of other things women go through after birth. I read it in a magazine the writers wife did this.

  • i love poodles all kind but the long tale looks wierd i like with now tale at all

looks nicer i guess ,,cut like bunnies

  • I also have a two toy poodles but they can't give birth anymore. And btw it is not an ugly dog she's cute

  • People need to get over themselfs. Honestly it's ok for dogs to sleep and live out side if they want to. I have three and THEY choose where they want to sleep.Grant yes I think that when a dog gives birth that it should be inside and in a clean place but if the owner cannot provide that or if the dog would be more confortable in her dog house then leave her be and leave the owner be.

  • "It's another chocolate one." lmao. SWEEET!!!

  • NO dog should live or sleep outdoors EVER!!! You also need to spay your dog, no good breeder would ever let there dogs live or sleep outdoors

  • What if the dog is too big for the house?!

  • shes doing good and also the pups she had 9 of them... there 2 weeks already...they just open there eyes and the ears are next...

  • im nervous about my dog giving birth in 10 days i dont know what to do she sleeps outside inside her house i think its warm cause she hasher pillow bed do you think its okay she gives birth there ....

  • you let poodles sleep out side ouch, bit of a bad parent i'd say!

  • So How is she doing now...how many babies she gave??

  • dogs are so smart :)

  • specifically Poodles

  • omg she has my name what a cute dog

  • you dont dock their tails do you?

  • My old dog (RIP) gave birth to two litters and never got to see the births. This was truly amazing to watch. thank you.

  • oh my god, i'm so sorry to hear about your dog, that must have been truely devastating,i dont own a poodle but this was fantastic to watch, i used to own a bichon frise but he very sadly went to sleep before xmas and i miss him horrendously

  • Well, she passed away about 8 or so years ago now. Now we actually have one of her old pups. The owners had a grandson who was allergic to dogs and couldn't keep her. So, in a way, my dog is still in the house. :)

  • Aww they all look so adorable!

  • smart dog

  • "omgg!

    my dog is ganna

    give birth soon!

    & im nerveous!

    but hopefully her

    mother instincs help her out!"

  • aww. my dog is having puppies soon!!! YAYA!!!

  • ahhh

  • to big for toy poodle isnt that a regular poodle?

  • i will never eat chocolate again after that.

  • tyhat is just werid!!

  • If anyone is wondering if its normal or not for the dog to open the sack it is if no one is helping and if it doesnt get out of the sac it can die but yes its normal

  • OMG

    IT CAN

  • the only weird part is when the mother has to bite open the weird sac that the puppy is in -_- otherwise, its pretty normal

    :D

  • whoa. cute but weird

  • got any tips for a first time breeder?

Idk anythin at all, so any tips is help, thnx

  • Well she decided to 'get it on' again and has just given birth to another four little pups.

Sadly I had been up all night watching her to make sure she was okay, that I didnt get a chance to take any videos.

It looked to be a little easier for her this time. Two brown (2M) two black (M & F).

Last time her pups went to different states of Australia, wonder where they will go this time.

  • No... Docking went out years ago.

The have tails that nearly touch the floor

  • You dont dock their tails do you!!??

  • The look on the Poodles face when the first one shown comes out is like "Oh my god...Did THAT come out of me?!" xD

    <3 Puppies.

  • IT CANNOT BE UNSEEN!!!

  • Maybe not, however, my two children are amazed by it. def a wow factor

  • IT STILL HAUNTS ME WHEN I SLEEP!!!!

  • oh god thats so sad, i believe animals know when the time is right to go god bless his soul

  • Hope they live as long as my poodle,16 years.

  • mine is 14!

  • Wonderfull to hear, i lost a boy 3 years ago xmas, he was 13

  • pretty old my dog died 4 years ago when he was ten on my brothers birth day when my third brother came home from the hospital i think my dog new that he wanted to see the baby first then die he died less then an hr after my mum and my brother came home

  • so sad! you know small dogs live longer and they can live long if you take care,of them with the right foods and all that.

  • In crossbred and mongrel dogs that is still the case, but in purebreds, the latest statistical analysis of longevity says that breed, not size, actually determines longevity. For example, the Scottish terrier is a small dog but it has a shorter life span-- on average-- than the golden retriever. Even more extreme is if you add the Cavalier King Charles spaniel, which has one of the shortest average lifespans of any dog.

  • Really? i didnt know that. I always thought smaller dogs had longer lifespans. How long is an average cav then? My mother in laws cavalier was 16 when he was PTS last year and was very active untill a few months before he died

  • The average cavalier has a shorter life expectancy than that. In the aggregate and in mixed breed dogs, small breeds live longer.

However, because of their various inherited health problems, Cavaliers live on average about 11 years.

Golden retrievers live about 12 years on average. All of mine have lived longer than that.

Breed has more to do with life expectancy than size.

Send me a message, and I'll send you the data.

  • please send it to me.=D

  • @notmyfaultt im soo sorry D: its okay i lost my dog last year before thanksgiving

  • @notmyfaultt aww im so sorry

  • are the puppys wet when they come out?

  • Duh everything comes out wet including you when you were born!!!

  • Thats not what i meant. I meant to say whats on it?

  • Oh sorry thats the amnotic fluid.

  • Not for long Tom, the mums spend a lot of time cleaning them up. Full wash down before the next puppy is born.

  • the dam eats the placenta or the sak or something?

  • eats the placenta for the nutrients

  • Yeh most animals eat there placenta,My Mom when she she gave birth to my brother she told the nurse on way out of the hospital that she wanted the placenta because my Dad likes to eat them my mom was joking but the nurse belived her!!!

  • Great video. You seem really nice and have lots of advice for people expecting new litters.

My dog is hopefully pregnant, she is a toy poodle cross and this will be my second experience with a whelping dog. My first was when I watched her being born. Very exciting.

Good luck finding homes for these pups, not that you will have any trouble.

  • New video soon of the pups at 6 weeks

  • did yu have to tie off the chord?

my toy is giving birth soon, and we're inexperienced.

  • No need to cut the cord as mum normally does this.

This is our girls third litter.

Would make sure that you have a fair amount of old towels, hot water bottle handy.

The mums do the work, anyway email me if you have any questions.

    Shannon

  • thank you so much shannon, we have a whelping kit already prepared already, but we need all the advice we can get

  • Tell you what these pups are now about 6 weeks old and geez, do they get into some trouble.

Now they are getting out the doggie door when they want to (not just following mum).

Our girl actually didn't give two hoots about the whelping box and decided to have the first pup under our bed.

She also decided that next to our bed is where she was going to keep them for the next 4 weeks.

Make sure you give your girl a lot of small meals. Try and get her fattened up a little before the birth.

  • How did u end up going.

What did u have and were all okay
