  • Cousins Subs actually had five Texas locations at some point in the late 90's and was my absolute favorite place to get a sandwich. There was only one problem. They weren't well known in Texas being a big midwestern chain. I'd love to see Cousins make a comeback here, but the competition has definitely increased since then.

    Ms. Specht makes a good point, Cousins indeed has that family business vibe. The guy who owned the last one in Richardson was the head soccer coach for his son's elementary.
