I was at the Foxboro stop on the 1994 tour. Pink Floyd was the third concert I went to (The Who and Rush were my first two shows in 1989 and 1994 respectively) and is still one of the greatest shows I ever attended (only the 2007 Genesis tour (which I got to see in Boston) gave Pink Floyd a run for the money as far as light show and staging and musicianship went).
Genesis sadly aren't going to tour again thanks to Phil Collins' retirement due to neck and spine injuries he sustained on the 2007 series of Genesis shows. Also, is partially deaf in one ear now. Genesis and Pink Floys always had the best live shows. Best example of a light show of Genesis is to watch either the Lyceum show from 1980 here or The Mama Tour from 1984 or the When in Rome DVD.
It's crazy watching this, my Dad was at this show. I was 14 at the time, not really into Floyd back then. Now that I'm older, I'm a huge fan...and it saddens me to know that I won't ever see them live. All you that were there should feel really lucky. I'm going to go cry now.
I was at this show. It was truly magical looking up at the Atlanta skyline and then to the stage to see and hear Pink Floyd. I'll never forget it. Awesome!
I was there both nights. $75 bucks per night for the tickets, and I feel like I ripped them off. That $150 is still entertaining me in my mind to this day.
It felt like the rafters were going to collapse during the intro/outro of this song.
my brothers and i were at this show. 20th row dead center.
the show was one of the best we've ever seen in our 25+ years of going to concerts. This night the band was in rare form and the SOUND was un freaking real. never again have we heard sound like that at an outdoor show. rest in peace richard wright and thank you for your brilliance.
I can't believe it. I was AT this show. Center stage 8th row. This show was an added date after the 1st Atlanta show for 1994 sold out so fast. It sold out in about 30 minutes or something and then a couple weeks later they announced that tickets were going to be sold for a 2nd night at the Bobby Dodd stadium. I didn't miss out that time!
The sound quality at this show was the BEST I have ever heard. Loud but crystal freakin' clear. Even right in the front. Stellar..or Interstellar that is!
on the 87 tour, sorrow sounded like a cool pop song but on the 94 tour, it is a real hard rockin pink floyd tune.

the Genesis 2007 stage was based on floyds 94 stage
aburrows2008 1 year ago
the genesis show was also 13 years later... Just imagine what Pink Floyd could do with the lighting technology of today. its almost un thinkable

Since 1970 I have seen the FLOYD maybe
5/6 times and all those people whom have never seen the band should feel that they have missed out.
Floyd haver been just a gig, more like a spiritual experience that transcends the bounds of the physical self .
