this ship was wreckf in the Solomon islands on the island of Telagy it hit a reef in the passage between two islands it was drove in to that bay on Telagy and was beacht to stop it from sinking it over 45" when it filled whit water.

A salvage crew from Cairns Australia nearly got the job done but were attacks by local natives whit guns and claim t the ship after two weeks it rolled over again .

I trolled all over it some 6 months later very hard to walk at 45" thanks Bill Teeling

I was living in the Solomon's when this ship hit an unmapped coral head and ripped a hole in the hull. The Captain drove the ship up onto the beach to keep it from sinking. All the passengers survived, we hosted a couple at our home until they could get a plane out.
