these are not regular cayennes or mls, they were modified for this rally. These two were stuck in the water, but if you look at other videos you can see that they easily passed it.

You really dont have a clue, as a self confessed Land Rover fan i have to admit the G-Wagon is a very good off roader if nothing as i believe it came with difflockers all round as standard and had the axle articulation to match a landy

Almost. One thing people didn't like about the G was that it had less articulation than a Landy, and debates goes on to say that thats why G wagens came factory fitted with lockers to compensate for that (how, I don't know). The G500 and AMG models didn't come with the front locker though, not sure if it was unavailable or optional.

The explorer is lamest among even the typical main stream domestic SUVs. It took me only minutes to find scores of reverences. The explorer is the least to be talking smack on a cayenne. If I were you I'd at least trade up to a Jeep Grand Cherokee; a waay better SUV at a better price.

The real issue here is the complete lack of winching safety observed. There is no damping blanket and the cameraman (and the spotter) are both in the path of a breaking cable.

For those commenting about this vehicle or that being capable off-road. You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Any 4x4 vehicle is perfectly capable when driven by a competent driver. Arm-chair quarterbacking when you've probably never been off-road once is silly.
