the english version should come out some time soon. And i was kinda hoping for a new combat system.....

@iwuvsushi Game is confirmed to come out on or before February 2012, and as for different battle system, the core is the same, but there are new skills like Double Extra Turns, upgradeable Demon skills(like being able to have a 6 range attack at the cost of some MP, or moving and attacking twice in one turn.) and having beaten the game, it was very hard to go back to Devil Survivor 1 without the upgrades of this game.

At Roppongi, Daichi complains about being tired and Io gives him her water bottle and they have a tender moment (NYAWW CUTE or not) and they run into four people who are trying to get home (I think). Before the others can help, a pod thing drops from the sky. You tell the people to stay away from it and they don't, so the pod thing blows up and turns the four of them into ash. The characters run away from the pod thing.

That's the gist of it :) best to read these comments in reverse order.

Then they run into the self defense forces telling people to get back to the shelters. The guy in the suit is all 'stfu I need to get back to my work for a while' (no, seriously), and the lady says there's kids trapped in school (she may be a teacher) and that they have to be saved. They go off on their own and the soldier is like, 'lol whatever, your loss'. The characters decide that it would be better to divert and go through Roppongi.

On the way they run into Yuzuru. They talk and nothing much happens - he thinks he knows you but you don't recognise him. Daichi and Io think he's a bit creepy.

They get to the station in the southern part of Shibuya and see the mysterious woman again with someone from her organisation. They overhear them talking all military-like about the damage and about observing and not getting involved lest they are 'attacked', etc. Lots of mysterious stuff.

They come past a park being used as a shelter, but realise that the park and all the other shelters are overflowing with people. Io comments that it's odd that no public services (espec. fire engines, police helicopters, etc) have come to aid the people in the area. They turn back to the train station, but find out that all the train lines are out of order because of the earthquake. The roads are congested so buses can't be used, and they decide to go to Io's house in Ariake on foot.

A tall woman (her name is on the website, but not here for spoilers) approaches the characters and asks them if they saw anything 'unusual' in the subway (referring to more than just the crash), and asks to see Main's phone. She sees that he has the Demon Summoning application, takes note, and leaves.

Main and Daichi agree to accompany Io all the way back to her house because they don't want her to travel alone.

Don't have the time to translate every line, but the gist of what's going on is:

The characters come out of the subway wreck to find Shibuya in ruins. A news transmission says that a big earthquake hit central Tokyo. No one can get reception on their phones, and Io wants to get back to her house in Ariake (which is a long way from Shibuya) to see her family.
