  • Hey thanks looks nice I will try making it

  • some what rice?

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt? looks like 10 teaspoons to me....

  • I'm Chinese, I'd like to learn how to cook Chinese food better. You're videos are so helpful, but I'd prefer you speaking Chinese. It'd be much better. Thanks!

  • HOW big are Chinese tea-spoons? Damn..

  • Ive seen immigrants sail across the English Channel in boats smallr than that Wok!!

  • Very nice......il try this. Apart from using metal on teflon. Great video.

  • That is one badass wok.

    and i love your recipes.

  • looks lovely :)

  • Thank you for your recipe. I really like your stove. I look forward to see you again.

  • She said this is the "traditional way" and she also mentioned that you can add more things to it. so if you want the golden to it just add soy sauce to the egg.

  • lol she's shouting

  • the hell is that?

  • This is a good video. Well done.

  • I get it already its the traditional way shit!!!!

  • Interesting to see how a professional does things. I would not have done it in that order (nor added that amount of salt!) I always add a small amount of water before recooking rice.

  • Excelent, thank you

  • holy shit thats a lot of salt.

  • Shouldn't you put the rice in first to then the egg. it makes the rice golden.

  • @BubblezNight rice ends up with the golden color due to soy sauce.

  • @xannurrs no, he/she was talking about golden coat fried rice. fried rice first then put the egg on to the rice, make the rice coated by eggs, the color is golden. usually it is a restaurant style. we call it 金(gold)包(warp)银(silver). triditionally, we dont use soy sauce to fried rice

  • @BubblezNight yes, you could, that in golden coat fried rice. usually it's a restarunt cook way. this vedio shows the home cook way.

  • Pritong baka na lang kulang Tapsilog na!

  • This don't look tasty at all... Sorry...

  • You need some Cookida rice.

  • Comment removed

  • made in china

  • she has a cute way of speaking

  • oh my this is not look good to much salt i dont like

  • "hit the wok first"

  • i have chinese origins and i was born in italy. this is so easly to cook but in my country nobody can cook this xD

  • i would put soja souce and ginger

  • @tele5ok Me too.

  • OK.....OK....OK....OK

when you listen for it, its very distracting lol

  • its funny.... its like a comedy show:)

  • she forgot the diced shrimp. CHinese fried rice always comes with shrimp and eggs..also her recipe does not include soy sauce and chili cause which is important in chinese fried rice cooking

  • @jkykwong100 Well, everyone has their own style of making it. I'm Chinese and I use nothing but eggs and rice (also oil and spices)

  • @jkykwong100 it is called egg fried rice and if you were watching she did mention basic fried rice. It is only made with egg nothing else. Besides its her style and her way of cooking it. You don't have to cook it her way do it your way. She probably learned it from family you dont know. So please have respect for others videos, because that's just rude. she is just showing how to do something, there is no need to sneer at her way because you feel she was wrong in the way she made it.

  • @jkykwong100 triditional fried rice dont use soy sauce.

  • so boiled rice with scrambled egg and spring onions then

  • Love it, Damn, I'm hungry now.

  • i improved it with some of my secret sauce and it turned into a diner dish instead of a breakfest one.

  • awesome !!

  • Ignore some of the very Rude comments from some of these people. Don't let them get to you.

  • Too much use of the word...RICE

  • I love Chinese for breakfast, but i normally just warm the leftovers up in the microwave. Yuum!

  • This is a great breakfast when you have leftover rice from previous day. I live in Sweden (瑞典)people here don't eat this type of breakfast but I'm weird :)

I usually put some touch of rice wine and also some garlic into it.

Not too much garlic though or people will get angry if you ride bus to work!!! :D

I want to move to China or other chinese inhabited country one day (like Taiwan, Malaysia, or some place). I hope to learn Chinese early compared to rest of Europe. China is next superpower!

  • holy shit i hate here voice.. and thats not how u cook it.. u gotta put the green onion in first.. then egg then the rice then salt... then soy sauce if u want it...... and shit u eat that for breakfast>??? damn.. normal chinese eat rice poridge

  • @heavyfoam different people even in the same country can have slightly different ways of making it. My aunty would make me this exact same thing and I would eat congee for breakfast sometime but to eat it everyday is so boring and im happy she made this type of fried rice ^^. I think you need to show some manners. NOT everyone is gonna cook like you of have the same methods. please grow up and understand not all things revole around you and your style.

  • @TheRivalConcept im sorry

  • vey nice recipe and really looks yummy..great explanations of the procedures...may i ask, you may put soy sauce before the final stirring of the dish?

  • so simple structure of recepie.....good

  • umm.............u didnt use soy sauce? anything chinese?

  • That looks yummy! My family would love this for breakfast.

    I love your wok !

Thank You so much for sharing and making the video :)

  • oh my god is she monalisa??

  • So is it one egg to one cup of rice?

  • is there any other pans you could use other than a wok? im at college and this looked sooooooooooooooo yummy and i dont have a wok.... :/

  • @purelhy I'll believe the Asian with the thick accent over the Aussie that has no reason to be butchering the English the way you are.

  • @purelhy

    #1.-You're a retard.

#2.- What in the blazing, blue fuck is an 'awfu face'? If you're going to troll YT and tear people down, at least make yourself understood... idjit.

    Bye, troll!

  • No way was that half-a-teaspoon of salt, lol!!

  • Fans ruin the smell of cooking food that wafts through the house.

  • @DASW7 That's not true, i am a fan of chinese cooking and i never ruin any smell...

  • The way she's talking she must think we're retarded.

  • @DASW7 It sounds like she is explaining it for people without cooking experience.

  • "Okay" must be her favorite word!

  • Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos - they're going to help me out a lot!

  • For the perfect boiled rice its worth purchasing a rice cooker, cooks the rice cooke lovely and fluffy, here in the UK they cost about £20 , its also worth buying" Pure Basmati Rice", expensive but worth it, I find Tilda the best cost £24.00 for a 10kg bag. For fried rice I find it best to cook the rice the previous day and store in a cool place, it then can be separated easily using your fingers makes it easier to mix in the eggs, add sesame oil for flavor.

  • As she said i also add a chicken stock to add to the flavour too but also soy sauce and for those who like garlic add this to the oil this really improves it.

  • That is ONE.....BIG......Wok!

  • Yup. That's not much of salt anyway because there's a lot of rice. You won't get the taste if you add in just a little bit of it. Just estimate how much you need. Not too much nor not too little.

I gained this experience when I first started cooking fried rice & I add a little bit of salt & it's tasteless.

  • why are you all bitching about salt? thats not much salt at all

  • That' aot of salt... I don't think that was a tsp of salt... Anyways... That looks easy... I will be doing it one day... Thanx...

  • She on steroids

  • Half a teaspoon of salt or half a can??

  • Can I use Basmati rice. I have been trying to make egg fried rice, and decided to come on you tube look, oh by the way I'm a man, in Romania

  • Where the hell did the salt come from and wth mix it before cooking the egg

  • I have a question: wouldn't it be nicer to pour the uncooked egg over the rice? It'll mix with it a lot better!

  • @bettyjoon3 May be she want want the egg stay in shape more than mix well.

  • @bettyjoon3 to each their own. I prefer having my egg fried rice with decent sized lumps of egg. It looks better and there's the texture of cooked egg in there along with the rice. If you pour it on the rice, most of it isn't seperately visible apart from making the rice a bit yellow, and the texture isn't really there. I would go further and say the "egg flavour" is less concentrated too, as it's spread over the rice and not in little lumps, but that might indicate I have a bad palate :P

  • Only a real chinese gangster have egg fry rice in the morning.

  • @wizard212 you are so gangstah

  • uncle bens much easier..lolz

  • very good job on making the video, understand it clearly..very simple, thanks for posting

  • You probably used around a tablespoon of rice, but it was a well-made video otherwise. Thank you for posting it!

  • Breafrest Nuffield said

  • add some chinese sausage and mushrooms with hot chilli sauce, hell ya !!

  • Looks good! I'm going to try it out now. :D

  • This is exactly what I have for breakfast when I don't want to eat meat. ( I add 1 grated garlic to the raw egg, minced onion and seasoning.)

  • No soy sauce?!

  • This was fantastic! I'll be trying this soon. Not sure if there are any eggs in the house at the moment though =/

  • Seguro q esta riquisimo! XD

  • oh i see i was cooking rice first then egg, no wonder it all went a bit floppy (still kinda nice not gona lie)

  • @BeedonFD i usually like throwing in the rice first before the egg also to prevent it from overcooking.

  • you're so pretty :) I think I have a bit of a crush on you :)

  • Half a tea spoon of salt??? That looked more like half a glass.

  • "half tea spoon of salt"

was more like a pint of salt lol

  • Could she beat those eggs any faster?

  • @myhoneyjudah depends. you have to beat the eggs really fast so it's not lumpy.

  • @linwang982016 gotcha

  • oh my , that looks soo good , im gonna make that for my girlfriend for breakfast and let you how she likes it :)

  • no soy or oyster sauce in it? lame thats no good

  • I just made some but i use garlic salt sugar and ummmm soy sauce its bomb

  • I just cooked this, EXCELLENT !!

I did added some finely chopped peppers at the end and a chopped up hot link sausages ( also finely chopped )

    Thank you very much

My son loves this meal so much

  • thank you for this recipe

  • why do fat americans come here to talk about her accent

  • "we use the leftover rice from last night" "you dont want a rice bowl now" "anti stick to the pot the wok"

omg! hahaha thanks for the lesson!

  • i like it man

  • `thank for teaching me how to make egg fired rice.

do want me to teach you how to speak english?

  • I like her use of the language. cute.

  • The only reason to stir really fast is that she is using a wok, also at a high fire rate.

  • everyone in the world should eat like the chinese and the indian... american food should only be once in a while... it's not healthy at all.

even the richest indian dishes, based on butter, are healthy because they use butter oil instead of whole butter.

fucking ace cooks... hell, if the entire world is subjected to islami, atleast we'll eat damn fine food, people ;)

  • mmmm that turned out nice, me love you longtime

  • 3 tble spoons looks like half a cup

  • I didn't follow these instructions exactly or use some of the ingredients but it really helped for preparing alot of the ingredients and cooking things so thanks.

  • ur accent reminds me of a good friend of mine, really love this food too

  • That wok is a beast. That vent doesn't sound like it is playing around either. Aside from being impressed with the cookware, the rice sounds good.

    Thanks for the video.

  • @CatDidWhat Rofl. Sounds like the motor of an airplane when she turns it off at 6:33.
