hey digidesign, I have a question, is it possible to blend playlist ?

for ex: I have recorderd 3 different takes of drums, so I have 3 playlists, BUT I want to use 1 section of each playlist for the whole song.

Example: Intro I want playlist 1, verse I want playlist 2, and chorus I want playlist 3, how this is possible!! thank you!!!

Question, guys..I'm new to Pro Tools and I'm recording my sisters. I'm recording a lot of 4, 6, 8 part harmonies throughout the song. I ran out of tracks (message said I had hit maximum and other tracks would not be heard if I continued to create new tracks) question:how do I get more than 48 tracks? would this "playlist" feature remedy that, or am I missing something? Thx!

youd have to get a pro tools expansion pack.. i think its called the production toolkit or something.

No no no that playlist stuff shown here has nothing to do with the amount of tracks.

Because digidesign are money grabbin' they want you to buy so called produation toolkits to enhance your track amount. There are actually two options : 1. If you want to be able to run 64 track and get some of their LE software versions shit, you have to pay 400$. 2.Get the same LE shit but having 128 tracks and pay 750$.

You need Music Production Toolkit 2, it gives you 64 stereo tracks. It's very expensive (about $1300) because it includes plugins too. But some people sell the license without the plugins in the Ebay. (Music production toolkit 1 won't give you 64 tracks)

Got Pro Tools 8 LE with an Mbox 2 micro as my first Pro Tools system and I am loving it! Before this I used SONAR and there's no going back for me now! :)
