Scooter is my favorite quaker (besides my own) she is such a great talker!!! My quaker, Ziggy, says nothing yet but he loves to listen to Scooter and I'm hoping it rubs off!!!!

"Twinkle, twinkle", and "I'm a little Quaker" and "Zip-a-dee-doo-da!" That's quite a revue! I think I caught some kind of "booty" song too, but I may have been mistaken. My Mikey likes the "Wat'choo r" part. I got a huge chuckle from the "let me out of my cage" in singsong. Is that part of the "I'm a little Quaker" song or is it independent?

She also does little quaker and now she is singing the I love you you love me song from Barney. She can keep you in stictches all day ....

I love the constancy of it. She talks so much. Does she talk more when you are there or out of sight. Mikey talks more when I'm gone. I also hear the Society Finches in the background. Is the other Quaker verbal too?  Do you use any tools to teach? Like recordings or radio? It's just so astounding and entertaining! Do you have a lot of birds?

She is out of her cage all morning, then they go back in at 1 PM for naps. At 5 they come back out and spend the rest of the evening out of their cage. Scooter is what they call a cage talker. She only talks in her cage. Once she is out of her cage she doesn't talk lol.

Thank you! I thought that I was right.I had mine for 3weeks now,& I kind of figured that out.Mine is just under a year, but he did this sneeky laugh this mornin' while it's cage was still covered that I never heard it do before. I'm settin it free as sson as his wings grow back!I CAN'T WAIT ;-)

notthe front door,but about a 1 month & half I went to the county park near my house,&let him go there.At1rst he didn't do anything.I didn't leave just watching him, then the ranger came& I told him what I was doing. He said that he would watch the bird,gave me a card to call n checkup on him.round 10 I called him,he told me how another ranger,&his wife came with a cage to gethim.They just brought1000 bird,so baby has company,but most importantly,HE"S NOT CAGED!that's all I wanted4him,freedom

Scooter is actually a girl and She turned 3 in August of this year...THANKS !...I'll try to catch her new things this coming week ...
