  • bom chicka wow wow they use softcore porn music to sell 1k.

  • Can't wait to get one!

  • @sauskechidori11 how much did it cost?

  • Jjust got mine! So fricken happy!

  • is this great for animation?

  • <3 Got mine today <3 (darn that thing is quite bigger than what I expected) ^^

  • de no creerse

  • It's been over 3 years now. Does it gotta be so god damn expensive?

  • ..Dear Santa,

  • @AudreyFetha TOO LATE

  • I WANT :L

  • Hmmm, I might get one of these for my birthday.

  • Do I need to connect this to a PC or is it just that

  • @claw247

It needs to be connected and installed to a PC.

  • @Talonere but why? cant it jsut work on its own? Like turn the power on and just start?

Sorry if the question is stupid, new to this kind of stuff ^^

  • @maenadvibration

No worries, i'm actually fairly new, myself. I'm.. fairly certain that won't work. Something could be made to do that, but the point of a drawing tablet is to upload direct to a computer.

Having a digital drawing pad which could then be uploaded onto a computer would be nice, and now that i think of it, i'd be surprised if such a thing didn't exist.

Olkies. I'm going to back out, now. I just realised that i don't really know what i'm talking about. =P

  • @maenadvibration Well it is an interface device between you and your computer. It could do all of this if it were a oversized iPad or some such but it is not. It is basically a pen tablet that happens to use a screen as the tablet component. That said though the technology is pretty sweet. If Wacom ever produces computers then I am sure they would make a device with a drawing screen. Until that day....

  • Only 100 more brats to babysit...

  • What the hell I already own a pencil and paper

  • i found one for £666.49.. that's the cheapest, though :(

    totallydigitalonline.co.uk

  • So good but so expensive ._.

  • These are worth the money but, this add is a bit misleading. There are cables and you don't really walk around with it taking it everywhere, as the animation of the girl suggests. It is a bit of a hassle to set up so, not something you take to the cafe and work on. Still, its a great tool...worth every penny.

  • despite the cables... this is indeed worth it. its flipping one of the best inestments that ive made... paid for itself tenfold in jobs ive gotten.

  • Dear Santa...

  • Can this run off a laptop?

  • @TobyTheTissue If your laptop has a video out it shouldn't be a problem.

  • I was wondering, can I take this with me and draw anywhere?

  • @sirnickey nope. you need a pc for this. and its not ,like they say in the vid, that you just can tak it anywhere to any pc easily, there are tons of cables and rather heavy 'box'-thingies you need, and installation takes its while too.

  • The slim and durable are on the tablet.. doesnt tell you the fuck ton of cables and connections it comes with.

  • @Alyxm exactly what i was thinking. but worth it, in my opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • @IZK97 getting a job... that worked for me

  • is cintiq 21ux REALLY that much better?

  • @GinoZump

Apart from the sheer size of the 21UX, not much. But if double the pressure levels compared to the 12wx makes a difference to you then yes. I'd say go for this if you don't want a really large tablet.

  • @SkyHiro07 well I owned a Bamboo Pen & Touch and Intuos 4 and the pressure levels didn't make that much difference to me. And I don't like big tablets so I guess that one would be perfect.

  • @GinoZump

Well then enjoy your 12WX when you get one! I'd like a 21UX myself.... someday.... *sniff*

  • @SkyHiro07 Yeah, maybe I'll treat myself at Christmas. Time to start saving up.

(did you hear about the cheaper model called Hanvon Sentip?)

  • @SkyHiro07 24inch, better, ( i have a 12inch, and its perfectly fine, the bigger aint really better unless you just want to show the fudge off.)

  • @Alyxm Hey, people have their way of working and have their own preference. It's not showing off if they find the tablet to suit them and make their work easier.Whichever they believe gives the service and the comfort from long hours of drawing is their choice. I'm no pro but with how I draw I find the large surface more comfortable even on traditional media . That's why i'd prefer the 21UX, but my Intuos4 is fine too.

  • @SkyHiro07 yeah i meant the cheapest version is fine. I work on a larger surface too (life drawing A0 size)

  • wireless...?

  • Is this portable?

  • I'd put my laptop closed but not standby in my backpack and just draw on a park bench..

    but... Too damn expensive...

all the money goes to my rent,..

  • it's great but it is also expensive ! :(

  • Just got mine £749.99 brand new on ebay ! its awesome :-)

  • Can i have errection now?

  • This truely is the best Wacom Tablet for me... I NEED something that has a screen where i can see what i'm drawing on, otherwise it is impossible for me to draw on say a Bamboom ot Intuos Wacom Tablet.... $1000 isn't bad... It's a wise investment indeed... But does anyone know of any cheaper tablets exactly like this one with the screen that you can see what you're drawing? Thank you in advance ^^

  • @TheOriginalvgamenut Fickin' Bamboom! I can't draw a fookin' straight line on it... I think hitachi made some like these, not sure theyr name though, sorry... But wacoms are top-quality, these hitachi might be shites... And yes and also no, it really is expensive, maybe not for you, but still, yes for it's good incestment... and if these hitachis are cheaper, I don't really know, sorry... ;-)

  • @Zentai88 loool no incestment but investment! my bad :D

  • аррр.... я затекаю слюнями...

  • do it's possible to use thit with windows 7? ( sorry if a make errors, i don't write very well english)

  • Hi,

I own a Cintiq 12wx and have just bought an iMac 27inch to use with it. There is no connection on the back, I am lost as to how I can connect it. I need to use it for my work and can't seem to find a way.

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • @theblastedfrench maybe he dont connect with the usb cable.i think that he dont connect with any kind of cables .

did u tried to to connect it like a d-link?

  • GIMME THAT!!!!!

  • im using this to draw. awesome tablet lcd display. cant wait to get the 21UX :D

  • Do you think one of my kidneys is worth this??

  • @makotomikami actually, if you get informed of the price of one, no.

  • Does the cintiq support ambidextrous use?

  • SAY IT WITH ME PEOPLE WANT! (cause that's what I'm saying)

  • Just got mine in the mail today :D

I'm a digital artist and I've never been happier. It's an expensive investment but worth every cent!

  • Agh! D: C'mon Wacom. Don't you think it's a little impractical to price this at $999? How many people can actually afford this....

  • The 12" model costs nearly 600€ in my country so i doubt i'll spend this amount of cash on it especially since there are better developments these days under a buck, like pen duo or other alternatives that transform your screen in a touchscreen.

  • Mummy .... >(

  • I have me a vagina boner. <3.

  • are there some touch screen tablets like this one but a little less expensive? :)

  • @DearsRenRen A touch screen tablet works only with your fingers, so it is much less accurate than using a pen. Also the Wacom screen can sense 2048 different pressure-levels, so you can draw harder or softer. In short, a touch screen is finger painting, while the Wacom Cintiq is real painting :)

  • @WannesAndVp yeah i guess your right... but its soo expensive 1000 dolars :S...... how much would used tablet cost? sorry for my bad english :)

  • @DearsRenRen I don't think you'll find one below 500$, if they ever sell it to you. If I was into drawing, than I would gladly invest 1000$ in it, and never give it away. If you can believe this movie, it's almost like drawing on real paper :)

  • @WannesAndVp hey i have never had a graphic tablet ,but i'm going to buy on soon.I wanted to ask u do i always have to keep my tablet in front of my computer? Can i use it outdoor ? Tnx

  • @elenka19941 Well I have a Volito 2, a simple tablet from Wacom. It wasn't that expensive, only 30€ or so. The best thing is to keep it in front of your screen. Normally you draw while looking at the screen, so not at the graphic tablet (like typing without looking at your keyboard). It takes a bit getting used to, but once your used to it, it is quite nice to draw. You can use it outside, but you need to take your laptop with you, so it's not that easy.

  • @elenka19941 *Rest of my awnser* A graphic tablet is like a mouse, an input for your computer. So you'll always need a computer. That cintiq is just a screen and a graphic tablet in one. If you want to draw much outside, I would suggest a pencil and paper (the real thing), and scanning it in, after which you can finish the drawing with your tablet :)

Or you can wait until Wacom puts a tablet, screen and computer in one package to go drawing outside (with a lot of reflection)

  • @WannesAndVp OR.. if you can afford it, you can get an ipad 2. ive seen some pretty cool artwork done on those

  • @TOBYE000 I have no doubt that it is possible to create artwork with a touchscreen like the ipad. But you won't be able to draw finely. With a drawing tablet you draw with a pencil, on a touchscreen you smudge with your fingers. Everybody can try what they like best. There's even the bamboo touch, so you can use both the stylus and your fingers. Just use what you like most :) just be creative.

  • @WannesAndVp no, i mean theres a stylus for the ipad and art programs. I dont know too much, but emperpep on deviantart has some really nice stuff that she did on her ipad with a speciel stylus. ._. you can get pretty detailed.

  • @TOBYE000 There are indeed home made styluses for touchscreens. But I would wait for official styluses, so you don't accidentally scratch your precious screen :) But a stylus does mean pixelperfect drawing, so if you're lucky to have an ipad, there's no reason not to buy a stylus. It will make drawing feel more natural than smudging with your fingers.

  • @WannesAndVp Its by wacom, its the called the bamboo stylus for ipad. wacom even has an app for the ipad called bamboo paper which simulates having and writing in a notebook (of various kinds of paper). ;n; unfortunetly im not lucky enough to own any of this stuff, but i read about on the wacom website and it got me excited.

  • @TOBYE000 That Bamboo Stylus looks very attractive :) With just a bit more effort on the width of the tip (6mm now), pressure sensitivity and tilt sensor it would be a perfect replacement for the Cintiq. Nice find of you.

  • hehe im buying this... gonna take 4 months to get it but soooooooo worth it

  • do want O.O

  • Cinitq is totaly awsome tablet (i work both on intuos and cintiq). But its not "take wherever you want" tablet. You need 3 cables to connect it DVI, usb, and power (with power brick)

  • i got the intuos, its not on screen, but is 200 dollars and is much bigger, for 800 dollars i want a bigger screen than that lol

  • @b1gbudda

theres a larger size of this for 2000$

  • @TheArtObsessed i know.. im saving up for it haha

  • what about for left handed wacom?

  • @sabaduy10 i use the intuos, its a bigger one but not directly on screen, u can turn mine upside down so that the buttons are on the other side, i think on this one u can do the same and flip the screen

  • My friend Mike just got one of these in trade for some print work that he did. He's looking to sell it for $750.

  • @StudiosB3 waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat no fair D:

  • @Drugernautt totally worth it dude, the thing is amazing, just don't expect it to be as portable as they make it look here because it needs to be tied to a computer and a power outlet at all times.

  • Why would they even bother showing somebody walking with this thing? Sure it's slim and lightweight but you need power. There is no battery. It has like five or six cables attached to it when fully assembled. It is not a portable device. You need a computer with the driver installed on it to work. You can't even use it with a laptop without a mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter (sold separately lol). Taking this thing for a stroll makes about as much sense as walking around with a desktop PC.

  • @thebunnis it has one cable coming out with atached box. From box are caming 3 cables DVI , usb, and power (with powerbrick). Those cables take more of the space then the tablet itself

  • ohhh myyyyyyyyyy goddddddddddddd.

  • What is the best CINTIQ 12wx or CINTIQ 21ux and which have above options CINTIQ 21ux or CINTIQ 12wx??Please tell me someone before i get it!!

  • @0nePieceGeneration I have tried both but I purchased the 12wx... It's simply a matter of preference... I'm the kind that likes to draw anywhere I can... on my lap... on the floor... sitting on the sofa w/e... I don't like being restricted to a desk and you pretty much are with the 21ux... It may seem odd.. but besides the smaller working area... That's the only difference that I noticed.. or that mattered to me... if you're a desk worker... go for the 21ux... if not 12wx...

  • @Casualmisfit thanks this will help me!!

  • @0nePieceGeneration Better yet... be more specific with your questions and I'll be happy to answer them! :)

  • @Casualmisfit I do not know many details about the cintiq 12wx cintiq 21ux and for this I can not be more specific. :)

  • AHHHHHHHH i need this sooooooooo bad

its so awesome im gonna die!!!!

  • I have this and am watching this vid on it XD

  • i need one

  • I would looooooooove to have all the wacom products, but i just have to pay for it. :(

  • When is the refresh of the Cintiq? Apple does it yearly, but I am not sure about Wacom.

  • @RabbidDuckFilms It's not yearly last cintiq by the way was on 2007 and now there is the 2010 but the smaller ones is updated frequently

  • @RabbidDuckFilms well they already have a bigger, twice as expensive version but they dont have a reputation of doing like apple does. i dont think you would have to worry about them updating it right after you buy it

  • I really wanted this...

  • WIth the coming of the ipad you can bet that there will be a truly portable Cintiq coming in the very close future. One that has it's own HD, cpu,and power source. That is the ultimate digital artists dream. Imagine being able to walk around with a Cintiq without the extra baggage of a laptop? That would be absolutely amazing.

  • Wacom please read this : u should make portable graphic tablet, with the size and weight like Ipad or others, but without the useless apps and other redundants , and so it could concentrate in graphic software like Photoshop, coreldraw, and illustrator. And of course a better quality of screen(not LCD pls). Today u might be the number one graphic tablet brand, but if you do not want to listen to our suggestion, very soon you will be lose your throne. its just the matter of time.

  • @Yvesyew and also The true PORTABLE means minimal wires & plugs, So Bluetooth is a must, maybe a built in battery, with an option of charger... cintiq 12wx is not so PORTABLE

  • So yeah... my birthday is 29 August *puppy eyes* =D

  • @BanyStrife

if ur getting a 1000 dollar gift...your more spoiled than me haha

  • @RainFTWs xD Maybe theres someone really really rich on youtube right now =D

And he/she sees my comment and buy it for me =D ( looooool yeah right )

  • 1:15-1:22 mean that you still need a computer with you for it to work? ''All you need is a PC or Mac and power...

  • @GamerVideoStudios LOL EPIC FAIL

  • @Luckyesmiperro Howso?

  • @GamerVideoStudios well, not reaslly an epic fail, but wouln't it be awesome to be portable? (with no laptop) and with a special Photoshop/Corel Draw designed for the portable cintiq?

  • @Luckyesmiperro well, if You're stubborn, You can always bring Your notebook! :)

  • @Luckyesmiperro I'd do anything to have one of those. :|

  • @Luckyesmiperro you could make 1 DIY style without it being too difficult

  • @Luckyesmiperro o>o that would make it perfect.

  • Can this tablet be used like sketch book WITHOUT the computer... does it has some bteries in it that i can charge??

  • @DearsRenRen No. It comes with bunch of chords and it also needs an outlet to work.

There aren't really any portable digital scetchbooks developed yet, but one could use a tablet PC for that, though they're quite pricey.

  • i get mine this xmas so excited

  • whats the price on this?

  • @enemyone365 like $1000 USD

They also have a gigantic one for double that money

  • I have an erection....

  • @zorrderschnitter94 Me too and I don't even have a penor... o..o

  • @zorrderschnitter94 My cintiq 21ux is not amused.

  • @zorrderschnitter94 Look at the price and your erection disappears ;p

  • whats the difference between the 12x and the 12ux wacom? :S

  • getting mine this wednesday!

    SO EXITED!!

  • @bunnygalxoxo since wednesday was 1 month ago WAS IT WORTH IT? :D :D

  • @Flash8Bro DEFINETLY!!!!!

  • @bunnygalxoxo on a scale from 1 to 1.000.000 How awesome is it? is there anything that it sucks at except being really expensive :)

  • @Flash8Bro hmm

the one tiny itty-bitty problem is that when i draw, the colors are different, but its probably beause i hae photoshop cs5

  • @bunnygalxoxo I got it a week ago :D the colours being off is something i havent noticed, the screen is brighter which is awesome making every picture look better. oh i did think of one thing that annoys me, the cintiq has worse resolution than my laptop so when i plug it in, my laptop looks like shit, but i draw on the cintiq so it's fine :) <3 the corners are somewhat annoying but not enough to make me want to shoot it :) the cables are LONG which is very very very very very very convenient :D

  • I want this so bad! But it's so expensive.... =(

  • So sexy.. So.. nice..

    I want it.

I'll never ever be able to afford it though D:

  • getting it on the 28th

  • i really want to get one of these it looks awesome and i need it for animation cause im like a manga freak XD but i just wanna ask,can u use it away from the PC like does it have an operating system in it or what? i hope someone can answer me

  • its simply like using another monitor, it does need software CD and needs to be plugged in the computer, but this work like an LCD touch screen or just a plain tablet

  • I can't decide between the 12 and 21 models... Obviously 21ux sounds fantastic but it's more expensive. Is it portable though? it seems heavy compared to the cheaper 12wx... I'm leaning towards12wx but I just found a barely used 21ux for the same price as a new 12wx (around £800-900) and now I can't really decide!! Help???

  • @galacticrainbow If you can afford the 21ux and have space, get it. The 12wx is not portable as they claim. You need a power source for it and has wires cables that connects to your pc. It's still good though, but if I were you I'll get the 21ux.

  • @expedition2006 Many thanks for your reply! I got a brand new 12wx after all. It was cheaper and I think it suited my needs better as I also wanted to be able to put it easily on my lap - and my suitcase when I travel abroad . :))

  • @galacticrainbow I have 12wx. its nice to work. but it has 5 cables one adopter for monitor and power adopter separate. I can't say how comfortable is that to carry from office to home. But u can carry it easily if you are travelling to long distance.

If you have money go for 21ux cos size really matters..

  • it pisses me off how they lied to me/ you/us when they show that girl carrying the tablet. it is NOT THAT PORTABLE WACOM you fucking liars.

  • @saprissa9 I agree!!! Buts that business for ya!

  • wiiiii My tablet *U*

  • can it run windows 7? :P

  • @alexcheetah79 Yep, it says so on the site :p

  • Why not just normal paper?

  • @ketchupfactory NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WUTS WRONG WITH YOU, U DONT DESERVE...YEAH.

  • @ketchupfactory Because on normal Paper you don't have layers, you can't do undo and you don't have all the other benefit's of computer programs.

  • Wheres the price?, i wanna know how much the thing costs

  • @SamHain1031666 $999 according to it's website.

  • 1:30 baby get low!! GET LOWWWW!!!

  • love it, but very expensive :(

  • I have this exact model for almost 2 years now.

And am still very happy that i bought it.

Workflow is much more efficient and therefor saves up time greatly.

Not to mention the accuracy of drawing and of course, preventing RSI and related symptoms much more.

  • Intuos4 feels great but dont know if buy it large or a cintiq12 thats smaller and has a half of sensitive ponits but have a screen

  • OMG MUST HAVE!!!! I know if I have this my drawings will improve by %200! I can do pretty good pictures with my bamboo fun tablet but I miss the natural ergonomitry of a sketchbook.

  • omg I want one sooo badly!!!!! All I gots is a tablet, its nice and all but I mean this is like a tablet ipad!!!!! :D

And I'm just wondering but does it come with like photoshop or whatever? Is it like an ipad or something? ?.? the website isn't very clear...

  • Dude! I want this sooo badly!! D:

  • getting this for christmas...and also my birthday scince its in december

    i hope its worth it..

  • I want this D:

  • i dont have to charge my note book and pencil up before i go out ...just saying ;]

  • Intuos now or Cintiq later??

    Oh why so hard.

  • @dancedanceeyeah I have both. The choice is easy get the basic tablet first. Sell it when you're ready to go to the Cintiq. Any time without a tablet is time not spent well!

You wont regret buying one, trust me. Oh and if you really want to save some money look into some of the older tablets on ebay. As long as they work they will do basically the same thing as the new ones for much less to get you started!

  • @dancedanceeyeah I have the intuos tablet and I cant get used to it, I wish I would have just saved up and bought a cintiq, the tablets dont feel natural at all =(

  • @dancedanceeyeah I'm in the same situation. D:

  • i have a problem getting a sygnole to my tablet so it always goes to sleep can you help solve taht problem ?

  • my cintiq 12 wx goes to sleep everytime i want to open it so can you help me ?

  • HI guyz. I wonder does cintiq 12xw work without pc?

  • @woodlandelven yes it does

  • I heard it spazzes at the edges and the points of calibration are poor. Should I still spend the money on it? $1000 plus tax is not a cheap investment. =/

  • @aquamist1000 no i suggest you a cintiq 21 ux since its bigger so you dont need the edges there. otherwise get a intuos4 they are the most precise ones out there. just look the specs. the cintiqs precission in the edge is actually horrible.

  • HOLY ****!!! HOW COOL!!! I`m SO saving for that!

  • Can you actually use it with out plugging it into a computer? basically using it when ever and where ever?

  • @Jeffa101 It's not a computer. It's a display.

  • @DexJedi so you can't use it when ever and where ever. it has to be connected to a computer?
