She is also my aunt. It goes on. My Great Grandfather was married twice, both times to a woman named Caroline. Doing my family tree was confusing to say the least. Sims is an awesome game, and its open-ended so there really is no objective. The best way to descirbe it would be like a 3-D doll house. You Create your own characters, design their world and have fun makeing each sim their own life story.

I dont know if you did this on your sims game, but whoever did had to have used the aging sims cheat. For example, the father and the son were both an adult, but it wont let you make them like that. And the lady had a grown up daughter, but to make children to adults, they have to be teem or lower (Unless you have Uni, where they can be a Young Adult)
