Its not hard to figure out that we survived without satellites and electricity before. We actually enslaved ourselves on this Earth due to technology. In the 1950's and early 60's we didn't need satellites, we did quite fine.

If we as a civilization has to scale back a bit in reverting to old technologies, it might be a good thing.
We would rely less on technology, and more on ourselves. That would create more jobs, and in time maybne we would go a different direction with technology.
There's no replacement for cold hard manpower. If we could do it before, we can do it again--except we won't be chatting like this anymore.
With computers, our world has shrunken significantly.
