HI TJCollins21... play around with the levels by adjusting them and applying threshold till you achieve good pop art look. there is nothing much more in to it. just adjust levels (ctr+l), brightness and contrast till the details you want are nicely generated by the threshold effect. you can also separate different details(nose, eyes, hair, lips) in separate layers and and play around till looks really cool.
Am I the only one who has photoshop open while watching the vids? As much as I'd like to, I can't keep up if they're going too fast (and at least say WHY we use the "threshold" function"). I had to replay the vid twice and my pic still didn't come with the desired results. *sighs* She made it look really easy, though!

Background music is painful. Hard to listen. Can't hear a sentence and therefore can't finish the lesson. UGH!!

I agree the sound over powers your talking in this case. So to hear you, hard to cut the vol.down. Great tutorial !
Just try and do them with lower background music.

nice tutorial..but i'd like the background music to be a little less apparent..sorta distracts from the lesson.

It's useful but the background music is awful and needs to be turned down, as it drowns out the actual instructions.
