Who else thinks they should do something for the SNES's anniversary, and start selling SNESes and SNES games again. Brand new. Maybe even make some new games on the classic cartridges with the lovable 16 bit graphics. Its a pretty huge impossibility, but wouldn't it be great to bring back some of the best things from the '90s at least for a little while?

Awesome! I was walkign about the stores in Japan and there was this one 2nd hand store that had a LOT of SNES (and NES even) games! They even had Sega Dreamcast games too, I think. N64 and Gameboy games. They even sold SYSTEMS. I don't think I saw a NES for sale, though.

@SaikoTaiko Nice find. though you can only play those games with the original Japanese systems they wouldn't be playable on the European or American systems. but you can tell by the cartridge which version they go to i don't know if they produced the games in japan as well as developed most of em.

I beat donkey kong a few weeks ago man such awesome nostalgia and game play :P i need to find the 2nd one i used to play that with my friend.

Well I have both a Japanese SNES and American SNES so it's fine. But actually my dad modded the American SNES so that the Japanese cartrige could fit in it - 3- I haven't had trouble with any Japanese games on the SNES so far.

But actually even some of the earliar American SNES games were manufactured in Japan. I think my DKC1 says "Made in Japan" on it, as well as a few other games.

But I'm sure the Japanese Dreamcast games can only be played on a Japanese dreamcast.

This game had so many great and fond memories from when I was like 11 years old.
