damn im fly to canada the day after tomorrow, from nz to Aussie to yvr to yyz to yhz. nz to Aussie is 14-15 hour flight we do 2 meals, who did you sleep with to get all that?? loving the breakfast
I remember the days on the longer flights here in the US when they'd come by and ask you if you wanted beef or chicken. Those days are LONG gone. Now, you get a bag of pretzels. A LITTLE bag.
And that too if u are LUCKY. most of them now offer that bag of pretzel for something like $3.
However international flights are fun(try avoiding US carriers) as they have really stepped up the In flight entertainment and food service. After all food is part of the total experience and should not be neglected.
Yeah, it's a joke anymore. I hate to fly these days. A bag of pretzels. Well, I like pretzels and peanuts but, it's never going back to the way it used to be. In fact, the last two times I've gone home, I've driven it. Longer than flying but, not by much and I have CONTROL over it. To fly about 850 miles, I end up stopping three times and changing planes two times. Nowadays, I drive half of it, stop and get a hotel room, then finish the next day.
Pretty good food for econo. Usually the longer the flight the better the food.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology and sensations:
(1) Why do we feel that meals on aeroplane are so interesting and distinctive from other dinning on the ground?
(2) What are the "enjoyments of sensations" of eating aeroplane meals in term of taste, smell and vision?
(3) What kinds of nice memory does the taste and smell of aeroplane meals recall/inspire us?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
