Well, to give some good critism. I think this video is very nice just the way it is.

It has a very nice "cool and cold" color scheme what fits the song really well. The white text is nice, but the little glow on it makes it perfect n_n. Then you added that little heartbeat, nice detail!! The timing was perfect so... I think this is very pretty, and the song doesn't need a lot of effects. The song & video material combination really sets the mood.

I love this. The colouring and song were perfect.

And to those who say its simple and doesn't take skill, well, it still takes time to get the clips in the right place and to find the right colouring and get it right. Video making isnt just as simple as shoving clips in random places to a song. Not every video has to be full of crazy effects or masking or whatever.

@sgttris I don't think you realize the effort that was put in this. I would go into detail about how/why I had to render this many times to fix errors. On top of that, making this video took a whole day, because of the text. You think it was just slopped on, so you don't know about the individual kerning of every single letter. Like I said, I could go into detail, but there's only about 70 characters left in this post. If you like I could make a video explaining the whole process.

Anyhow I'm not saying this isn't appealing and people will like it, it's just not that good in terms how easy it would be to make. And yes It does seem like the text was slopped on I could get that in Vegas in a matter of minutes and then it's simply placing using pan and crop, syncing, and changing the words. Btw what exactly did you use... just curious

@sgttris I'm not sure if pro 7 or 8 have this, but they might. It's called the pro-type tilter, under media generators. The font I used is called Antipasto and I applied a Gaussian blur to it. I applied the "Add" blending mode to all the text layers.
