Nice one, man. I look forward to hearing more of your stuff. My one suggestion would be to put the amp further from the camera... that hiss is intolerable!!!! But all in all, great work. :)
@BodomBeachGuitarist I thought you were about the defend metalcore and deathcore, two of the worst forms of music today. Just for that, I salute you. Good day.
ur not too original (i still dig it). but ive been doing this with an rc-50 for like 6 years. p.s. the drums sound better if u turn the tone off and slap them instead of picking. i like it tho i dont wanna sound like a jerk lol i just thought id let u know ur not the only one ill try to get some of mine up i like ur jazzz budddyy keep it up my man i dig it
@varulv234 Metal is the deepest form of music?? Im sorry, what? No offence intended but in most cases its just a bunch of depressed hairy males and psycho make-up plastered females screaming down a microphone about how either their boyfriend left them or how they feel like their dying for some obscure reason that noone other than self obsessed sad teenagers bother to translate and understand. At least funk, folk and jazz have character, and is not just noise and distorted guitar. Peace.

@BellyZardFtw Yeah, metal is defo not the deepest form of music. Some of it might be kinda intense or powerful, but it's generally not textured or 'deep'. I resent your idea that all metal is about feeling like you wanna die, or that it is just noise. There is a genre called harsh noise. That is just noise.
@BellyZardFtw Metal fucking sucks. This has true character. Anyone can play a distorted guitar and sound good if they wanted to, but with this kind of music, you have to throw yourself out there with feeling.
Metal lacks soul? Are you an idiot? Metal is one of, if not the deepest form of music EVER! Are you saying that some shallow funky beat has soul? Idiot.
guitar port into the computer? Er, not sure what your saying but here's my two cents.
First, check to see if your computer has a line in or a mic in. If it does, your in luck. Go to the nearest radioshack and ask for a quarter inch (1/4")-to-headphone jack. Its got a female instrument cable end and a male headphone jack end. Just plug your guitar into the female end and plug the male end into your line in on your computer. Then use Guitar rig 3, Amplitube or some other program for amps.
it sounds good.. but it kinda gets boring after a while on the loop(the solo is fine). but this is to show how much you can play with only one guitar, so i guess thats ok.
Since so many people commented on 'life outside of the pentatonic scale' I'll post a similar loop soon of some of my major/minor pentatonic/mixolydian mode/chromatic experiments.
i cant tell, but my guess would be a line 6 dl4 loop. im just going based on the noise of the foot switches on the pedal. if you wanna see another good video of this stuff look at this
Creative music! I really like it, lead lines were great--a bit too much going on in the rhythm track though, I think. Maybe lose that second funky single note line you laid down before the solo?
That is amazing! You play really good. That is so neat how you looped those tracks together and then picked to it. I can't wait to begin taking guitar lessons. This is exactly what inspires me to want to learn. Great job!!! Dan
OMG very great! i'ts rare to find someone on youtube who can play the electric guitar so nicely....everyone seems to be into "metal" or crap like that. but this is soulful...exactly the style i want to play...thank you for not sucking lol
you not only have a guitar, you have many pedals too ;)
