The only bad thing about pot is the smoking, if you vap or cook it it's not really bad. Mushrooms can cause the same problems as acid, but usually is only a problem if you already have an under lying mental problem. Coke isn't any eviler than alcohol, or any other 'hard drug.' I know plenty of good people who use it responsibly. True, bad E can kill you, of you take too much. MDMA has a far greater safe dosing range than something like PMA, but most deaths from E also involve alcohol...

If you test you pills with a testing kit, don't drink alcohol, and drink plenty of liquids (juice is best, as you don't have to worry about hyponatremia) you'll be fine. Ketamine is one of the most dangerous psychedelics, but it's still far safer than alcohol.  I have a good video about the dangers of Ketamine on my channel. Although I haven't heard of anyone falling into coma from a recreational dose, as the anesthetic dose is about 10x higher, so one would have to take a massive dose...

As far as meth goes, well I do know people who's lives have been destroyed by it, but at the same time I do know people who use it responsibly. Meth and other amphetamines are used medically for people with adhd and help them greatly, so while it along with almost any other drug can ruin you life when abused, it can also help certain people. Not to mention all the college kids I know who take adderall which is a mixture of amphetamines, to help them study, and have had no problems with it.

I don't know anyone who uses heroin (in fact I've only have seen it once in person) so I can't speak from experience. But I have heard of people who use it in a responsible manner. Only about 25% of users are considered addicted, which is less than the 30% for nicotine. Now alcohol. Alcohol can be just as bad as any of the other 'hard drugs', which it is considered. booze kills over 75,000 a year, more than all illicit drugs combined.

The first one, nearly half tried drugs or alchohol by 13, I'd bet the farm that the vast majority of them only tried alchohol, which is legal. Same applies to the second one. I'm sure most of these "house parties" only had alcohol. The third one, no shit, the war on drugs isn't working. Prohibitions on things don't work. For example, the prohibition on alchohol only produced a seedy underbelly of badly brewed dangerous alcohol
