Oh well to hell with it. After searching the varieties of this, I guess this IS the one in Wristcutters. It's the female backing that I heard and that's what I thought the song was mostly going to be. Sorry Lord Sutch.....This is a killer song but I really do like the backing vocals better. Either way I'm glad I found it. Wristcutters totally made this song for me. Love it.
@Merrida100 Yes I believe it is. I think I will watch this Wristcutters, so many people have mentioned it on this video and I still haven't actually seen it. I happened by chance to see the trailer the other day and it looked pretty good. I love the backing vocals but Sutch is brilliant once you get into him. He really pioneered an interesting 60s sound (not to mention stage antics), one that really took off. I mean if you check the lineup of his band over time the names are jawdropping.
@curzmg It's funny because I've never heard of him before, but he reminds me of Manson, Iggy,...like he pioneered this goth/shock rock decades before his time. I've been looking him up ever since I posted that comment. I like learning new things. Oh you really do have to see Wristcutters. I've watched it dozens of times and it never gets old. Let me know what you think of the movie. It's turned me on to a whole lot of new things, music, artists. This is fascinating!
Wow, usually this video gets around 50 views per day on halloween it shot up to 200, it must be people searching monsters. Now I understand the importance of advert timing.
Their version is a bit too poppy for me, they drop the slightly insane atmosphere. Screaming Lord Sutch also had the best voice for these sort of lyrics.
this is like the NOSFERATU of rock music...i'm gonna write a song about this guy, arthurbrown, blackie lawless, alice cooper,KISS,marilyn manson

Just so you know, it's called "She's Fallen in Love with a Monster Man" on itunes.
MrJulio1226 8 months ago
@MrJulio1226 It's a standard and it is spelt either way. I'm not sure what album it was on originally so I can't check how Sutch spelt it.
