@Cvitamina The way I feel, every TV performance of Ella Fitzgerald should be released. Every production company should search their archives for any missing tape. I don't believe we will ever see the likes of her again. As a great musician once said about Ella after she passed, "It will never be that good again".

Shane Ella wasn't alone at this point as far as having a contract. Sarah Vaughan was in the same boat. It wasn't unitl 1971 that Sarah had one with Mainstream and 1972 that Ella had Pablo......and even more ironically THEY both were on the same label between 1977-1982. But even on the same label didn't do an album together..
