  • ummmmmm......why is the whole thing filmed on a green screen? i sorry but i laughed, the acting is horrible too.

  • @lightningfilms Sorry you didn't enjoy my little low budget fam film Timestorm: Webisode 1. Ah well...

  • Hi! Would you and your fellow filmmakers like to be part of a massive film project? I have a plan to bring together some of the most talented Doctor Who fan film writers, designers, effects people, directors, producers and more in a massive collaborative effort and pool their genius toward a single end. If you'd like to be a part of it, please get in touch!

  • I was expecting this to be rubbish but it is actually quite good.

  • @dfarmbrough Hi and thanx for saying such nice things - good fun yes, but the SFX are hard work though - webisode 3 of Dr Who Timestorm is online now just incase u missed it and the next part will be uploaded in due course.

  • @Alanglynnis The effects are the best thing, and I hope you enjoyed doing it. I will look out for the next part!

  • This is awesome! I love the cool effects. What programme did you use for this?

  • @DrWhoFilmers Hi - glad u liked webidode 1.

FYI webisodes 2 and 3 are also on Youtube under alanglynnis.

In answer to your question, the SFX are courtesy of FX Home - a very nice of kit - and the editing courtesy of Magix Pro 16 plus.

  • @Alanglynnis Ah it looks like you did a really good job on it. Its fantastic! :)

  • @DrWhoFilmers Thanks - you are very kind...

  • Well I liked it....

  • @M1sterSax0n Thanks - always good to hear nice things. My fragile ego needs a boost now and again...lol

  • The effects are great and the girl playing georgina is passable too, But the fella playing the Doctor is a wee bit stilted.

  • @Jez32uk Hi Andy. Thanx for the positive comments re the SFX.

On the acting bit, for stilted read rubbish (I can say that cos he's me - lol)

Webisode 3 might be better on that front - no promises tho !

  • he sounds weird...

  • @Darkvampire1011 Cos he is weird and that's me I'm talking about...

  • @Darkvampire1011 Lots of planets have a north- ern ireland?

  • Its paddy mcguiness and sarah pallin!

  • @kingjoeg lol

Enjoyed reading your comment (and that's more than I can say for some)

  • @kingjoeg

Hah hahahahahah. I just spilt my Beer down myself. Cant stop Laughing!

  • strange.

  • Nit pick bread is bad for ducks lol.

  • @LegendofJStudio Hey, at least the nit pick wasn't about my dodgy acting ! lol

  • @Alanglynnis DUDE its better than colin give yourself some credit lol. Besides its a video made for the internet we arnt paying to watch it anyone who complains dosen't understand how film works. A budget B budget and Interet films. I mean did you have a 1million pound budget to do it lol.

  • Why did you green screen it|?

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Because of the scale of the project and actor availability - also because the story takes the Dr and Georgina into the Chronos Institute, a 14th century castle and a Dalek Flying Saucer.

Apart from all that no reason at all...

  • Superb piece of work, Sir. Far superior to any of my work over the years. It's very easy for people to criticise. A wise man once said, 'Those that can, do. Those that can't do, teach and those who can't do either become critics'.

  • Thank-you for your kind comments. And thanks for subscribing - much appreciated

  • Nice fan film!

  • Thanks for the feedback - glad u liked it.

  • The guys acting is the worst i have ever seen. He is like a pervert on steroids! Everything else is good tho

  • Ouch ! about my acting - lol.

  • Yes, the acting is terrible to put it mildly, but then it's a fan film not a BBC production. Effects aren't bad, I know it's a 'webisode' but 3 minutes is way too short, a lot of people will just give up after one part, maybe it should be longer to try and gain viewers interest more.

  • @sl1963

Thanks for your feedback - most webisodes will be merged eventually (they're being uploaded as SFX are completed).

  • As a long time Doctor Who fan, and, speaking as someone who has watched a "lot" of the fan made films that are available on Youtube, I would like you to know that I have "Thoroughly Enjoyed"!!! your production. All creativity works best if it is presented with a "Love" & a "Passion" for the original source material and it is "This" that comes across in "Spades" in your work. You should be proud of what you have achieved!!!

  • not bad :D You open to criticism though?

  • Always

  • Firstly, the Tardis is very well modelled. Loved the jokes. Just the part from temporal vortex onwards, the actors dont seem to be talking naturally. I dont want to get nitty gritty about it, so ill leave you to figure it out. Very enjoyable though :) *goes to watch the second webisode* Tip: some actors tend to anticipate their lines and try to time it just right. Instead, try and be more natural and react, rather than "I will say this, when this happens" You dont need to get lines word to word.

  • lolz my dad know this guy from his office
