for people who do not know...those who are used to their shoulder popping in and out can do it quite easily...usually without their skating partner even knowing. typically in the middle of programs you are so focus on the program...it doesn't go back in exactly right..so it takes a second longer to adjust. The shoulder gets numb and tingles. The pain you get used to. it is amazing she can keep her shoulder in socket during death spirals. Mine always popped out, & is why i finally had surgery.
Was she skating with dislocated shoulder? She must have been under extreme pain but still completed their program. This is exceptional. They are my favorite, hope they keep going on and win, next season.
Moskvina has done some nice work with Smirnov. Now, is they could just find a partner to replace the sparing dummy then he would be enroute to the OGM.
You can flame me all you want, but he has great extention and reach while present the female while she looks like a gawky hardly trained 11 year old.
@akil3120 Ugh, you're right. It's the scarf that makes it so bad and dowdy. She hardly looks like a professional athlete that's going out to compete. More like senior citizen going to bridge club.
I think Moskvina puts too many difficult elements in their programs. They always perform their programs with small mistakes and it kinda makes them look sloppy. It would be much better if the coach concentrated more on their lines and posture, otherwise they'll end up like Obertas/Slavnov - a lot of talent, but too many unfulfilled expectations.

Oops, typos.
Also, I have to admit I feel bad that Kawaguchi is injured.

Stop the quads..these kind of jumps are dangerous especially at pairs...remember Dan Fang Torino 2006

You mean Zhang Dan.
I'm always surprised to see how they (Kawaguchi and Smirnov) attempt quads with such little speed!
