The only things wrong with MLB 09 is some of the outfielding and the SS position and their choices. But overall, MLB The Show 09 is much better than MLB 2K9. A lot of 2K games suck a lot!

That REALLY disappoints me that they didn't fix this. This exact same glitch is in the 2K6 and 2K7 versions for regular XBOX. Also in the others, if you create a player that's too tall it does something similar to this. Is that also true in the new one?

Many PS3 Owners keep on saying "I'm so glad I got a PS3." But Baseball is the only time that they can say that because most games for the Playstation Console suck balls.

The 360 is far more better.

But still, this game does suck a bit.

This game is so damn broken.....If I had a PS3 I probably would've bought MLB 09: The Show in a heartbeat......The only reason i haven't returned this game is because it's the only option on Xbox360.....Someone @ Gamestop told me this is the last year on 2k Sports license for baseball, so there's a chance there won't be a MLB baseball game on 360 next year.....

Unfortunately, someone @ Gamestop was wrong. 2K has the exclusive license through 2012. So unless MLB does us all a favor and strips 2K of the exclusivity, you're boned for years to come.

It's enough to make you go out and buy a PS3, which I finally did a couple of weeks ago. I just couldn't put up with this for another year.

I still love my Xbox 360 games, but it hurts when a game comes out each year, releases garbage like this. I think the majority of baseball fans realize the better baseball experience is in MLB The Show,but the average gamer won't purchase another console just for 1 game unless he/she really loved that game. I hold faith in 2k for next year because with MLB 2k9,presentation,menu layout, & overall commentary is fine, if they adapted things from MLB 2k7 & a lil' bit from 2k8, they'd be on the right track. You'd have 2 think they pay attention 2 all of the upset consumers like myself voicing displeasure

i actually bought 2k7 for ps3 since the show was just a ps2 port at that point.

its really shame that 2k has a choke hold on the license until 2012. so unless they get their act together and actualy try to make a legit contender to the show its gonna be a long ride for non ps3 owners.

as for ps3 only having the show to offer, recheck that list, there is much more out ther at this point to warrant a purchase of a ps3 if you already have a 360.

just own both you cant lose.

I feel you there, I know the PS3 has some nice exclusives-(I love the way Killzone2 looks),& I like Blu-Ray,but I'm pretty satisfied with the games I play on 360 now. I'm saying that since I thought of buying a PS3 before,this may push it over the top because with baseball season running from March-October each year,I won't wanna deal with playing another crappy baseball game next season, so whereas that could change it from "maybe I'll cop a ps3, to "I'll definately cop a ps3." We'll see though
