X factor is about luck more than talent, to get through to the live shows you have to not only sound good but have a good image, an example of this is from american idol (clay aiken) for those of you who don't know he came second but they weren't even going to put him through to the live shows cos he was a geek. But he had the best voice, better than any we have seen on x factor probably and itds the same thing here.
