We're not sure how high that last one was, but that's why we stood next to it--probably 4' something, maybe 4'6? I'm not sure what the highest is he's been jumped to with a rider, but I can tell you from experience that he doesn't bat an eye at 3'9 ;)

Gee wizz!!! What an amazing horse u are one lucky rider:D He is beautiful,got great trot movment and backs himself off well!! What grade do you jump him and what breed is he?

I've only ridden him three times in lessons; my trainer and other riders have done everything from local h/j shows to big jumper classes with him.

Wow I love this horse i really do he just seems to float around always looking amazing i have seen lots of videos of people jumping him as well i think hes fantastic... and he looks in great condition...

Riding him in those two lessons I took with him was like riding a Pegasus...it was absolutely amazing how effortlessly he jumps!

For the person that made the comment about him not looking in great condition..what are you looking at? I thought he looked great and also jumped lovely. My SADDLEBRED is a jumper crazy huh? his highest is 5'4 and that was with me on him! (We were running from a pack of stray dogs..and the fence got in the way) GOOD JOB! Bless him!

Wow, he TROTTED up to the first few jumps-that were pretty high! he has some real jumping potential, that one! How old is he? doesn't look in the best condition.

I find your comment somewhat offensive. Note that this video was from December--Timmy's in his full winter coat to brave the Pennsylvania winter, so of course he's not going to look flashy. He is clearly in good weight, and he wouldn't be capable of jumping that high if he was in poor condition. That was rather impolite.

You live in the friggin Yukon, for the love of God; your horses don't end up looking like woolly mammoths in the winter?! While you're on the topic of age, let me reiterate that when tweens decide to be judgmental, it makes them seem even more immature. You have some gall to disgrace a creature that embodies the spirit and beauty that attracts most people to horses in the first place.

he looks AMAZING at 0:44! hes way up in the air over the jump, and the sun is shining on his mane. he looks great. i bet hes really fun to ride. youre lucky to have a horse like him!

I'm not sure what his highest was, but I know he can do 4'6 or a little more. That's just what I've witnessed. :)

He's 17 hands. I rode him once for a lesson, and my legs didn't even come close to making it down his sides. In fact, I think they were about halfway down his sides. I looked like a little kid on a pony ride. :-P

Haha i have the same problem with my Canadian WB. he's 17h as well and it doesnt help when im 5'3" and have REALLY short legs. I can hardly get my spurs in him!

Haha, yeah...if you can call it that...it was about a year and a half or two years ago. I am 5'3 and my legs didn't even come halfway down his sides...and I was nervous to do more than trot on him. I'd be willing to give him another try down the line, but he's a LOT of horse for me. I'm comfortable admitting that I'd probably be overmounted.

That is incredible! I can't believe he trotted those huge jumps! Is he gentle? I had a horse who was capable of trotting anything but I couldn't handle him.

I have a video of Earl (his owner) and him doing a Gambler's Choice round, also listed under this account. Few people can keep this horse under wraps--he's not malicious, but he's a lot of horse with a whole lot of power.

he just floats! it looks like that jump's at LEAST four feet... judging by when you guys stood next to it for the photo. gorgeous. i enjoyed watching this.
