  • @gixergav those fans are not powerful enough to suck pure fuel from your cylinder!!! That thing is running 50 times too rich and thats why it sounds like ass!! I bet they cut the vid short cause the thing just pre-ignited and blew holes in 2 or more of his pistons, fucking amateurs!!! Blue flame is not that bad, thats just partially unburned fuel igniting when it hits fresh oxygen, orange flame is too much fuel thats not getting burned in the combustion chamber!!

  • @bl1ndw33zy no, the PC is telling the bike to inject too much fuel!! This is very easy to do, all you have to do is load the wrong map and this will happen!! Whoever was tunning this didnt have a fucking clue or they were playing around being stupid with someones expensive toy!!!

  • @craigg1981 or maybe he wanted this due to the title and description? my636 would shoot flames when coming down from high rpm... no big deal , and all it had was a two bros slip on . no power commander ,or tune.

    Sometimes what you said is the case, other times its unburnt fuel in the cans. I want to my local bike shop they checked me out and said everything was good and it was unburnt fuel.

  • @franksnakemeza They were either doing 4th or 5th gear roll-ons or an all gear run, either way thats way too rich and should not be spitting flames like that!! Especially not orange ones, thats pure unburned fuel coming out that exhaust and its not a good thing no matter how cool it looks!!!

  • Power Commander tuned to give the bike too much fuel on 0% throttle at high rpm...

    Some people do it to prevent lean-out upon deceleration... but it is pretty much unnecessary to make the bike shoot flames

    And it will ruin the pipes...

Ora tutti mi dicono che è carburata male, a chi devo credere secondo te? Sei sicuro che tutte quelle fiamme non facciano male alle valvole?

  • That R1 looks like a racing bike from the rear fairing, so maybe the ignition setups are pretty different than in a street R1. And it's possible that they are just adjusting the the engine so maybe it's not in perfect setups in this video.

  • How is that possible? SERIOUSLY...

  • Racing ECU, exhaust very hot and a lot of fuel.

    Stock ECU shut off the injectors when decelerate, for that you need racing ECU that doesn't do it.

    Run the engine at high rpm to make the exhaust very hot (better if Titanium headers) then close the throttle a use a setting very rich.Whatch the exhaust ;-)

  • yeh the race exhaust is getting the gas out faster therfore you need more fuel/air to compensate , if you dont then generally they run lean , to be fair though bikes run lean with the standard pipes now for emmisions

  • EFI nel caso specifico ma anche con altre,dipende solo dalla programmazione. Anche con l'originale "ingannata" si può fare.

    La R6 07 è caratterizzata da un motore potente oltre i 10000rpm ma scarso al di sotto c'è poco da fare.Un buon scarico racing+Pc3usb e volendo anche Modulo Anticipo, cambiano già abbastanza la situazione. Dopodiché occorre intervenire sul motore, cammes, testa, ecc.

    Una centralina da sola non può stravolgere il carattere del motore se la meccanica è originale.

  • Ti ci vuole una centralina che costa più dello scooter :-))

    E comunque il video è la parte finale di una prova dove il motore è tenuto a carico costante per 6-7 secondi a 11.000 rpm durante i quali lo scarico diventa incandescente. In fase di rilascio poi è disabilitato il cut-off per cui l'afflusso di benzina si incendia nello scarico

  • il cut off viene tolto nelle competizioni? a scopo di limitare il freno motore della moto in rilascio..? oltre a sprecare benzina e lana di vetro che effetto ha? :D

  • To have backfires usually you lean the carb, to have flames you need to rich it. It is riched only at close throttle so the spark plugs are pretty ok

  • You need to put a lot of fuel (rich) at closed throttle position, but the bike has a racing ECU in place of the stock ECU.

  • cool i really want to install a powercommader 3 on the gsxr would u think it would get that much backfire but i guess u get most backfire is wen you load the engine and let it decelerate by it self without touching the clutch right? or every full power gear shift?

  • cool, i've been wanting to do mine like that 4 a while...just not sure how much fuel i need 2 ADD at closed throttle. I got a pc3 n it hardly backfires.....at the moment.
