Gotta love that 300. 4-low and 3rd gear all day long.
How much lift and what kind of tires? I run a 4 inch rough country suspension lift and 33" goodyear wrangler duratracs on my 95, I also have a 4.9 and mine has a 5 speed. Awesome combination.
