  • I'm sorry Angry German Kid it's C:38 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ARG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Angey German Kid Alert

  • It's been proven that Chuck norris is the sole creator of this tune, and has used it in his escapades of "hunting". The first 10 seconds are your last few precious seconds of life (best be used for praying). And by the split second it ends you will hear the next segment as you groan in the agony of appearance of Chuck himself. The drums are merely the last bricks that you have shat. A masterpiece of music, if I may say.

  • oh, shit!

  • This scared the shit out of me when I was on high volume :(

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • the first 10 seconds of this tune are what you hear when you're bring judged at the heaven gate. The last 18 seconds are what you hear when you find out that you're going to hell

  • @metsfreak4life that would work. lol!

  • Webb Road Flea Market destroyed by Fire....

cue million dollar question wrong theme.

  • @KidsTVCentral Not only million dollar question. What about euro or pounds? :)

  • I would be so gutted if there's a first ever contestant got a £1,000,000 question wrong, I would feel sorry for him/her

  • @sammy2371 Ken Basin was the first guy on Millionaire's 10th Anniversary special. Watch the "You just lost a lot of money" video in the related videos.

  • @MetalSmasherGaming Really? I thought Laurence and Jackie Llewelyn-Bowen were the first ones in the celebrity special to lose £468,000 about 5 years ago... LOL

  • @sammy2371 Sorry, I meant first in the U.S. I didn't even know about the Llewelyn-Bowens until I researched it, since I don't get the UK version of Millionaire.

  • What a haunting music!

  • ayayayayay!

  • i heard that once when i was little and i was so scared

  • This brings back memories of Ken Basin...

  • This should have happened to Charles Ingram.

  • *shudders* Why not "The Price Is Right" losing horns instead? Gosh.

  • lol "gosh"

You're such a cute little twinker.

  • That is one damn angry sounding tune.

  • hahahaha

  • I was FREAKED OUT when I heard this the first time!

  • This is one of the creepiest tunes I ever heard.

  • Agree. Im starting to shake and everything. I dont want to listen to it.

  • EPIC FAIL!

  • arrrrgh... i never wish to got it !! it makes me so DISSAPOINTED extremely

  • omg! imagine how shit you would feel if u heard that and u were in the hotseat!

  • You don't lose $468,000 anymore. Now instead, you lose $475,000 when you answer the last question wrong.

  • God. That is an evil tone.

  • It's happened! For the first time ever in the US show's history, IT'S HAPPENED!!!

  • I never thought we would ever hear this in the U.S. Adding insult to injury that our version has been on a Millionaire drought since '04.

  • And that '04 win was on Super Millionaire (and that wasn't the top of the Money Bar).

  • This happened on Millionaire tonight. HILARIOUSLY EPIC FAIL!!!

  • Which version?

  • The return to primetime with regis philbin.

  • whos lost on the last qwestion

  • this guy a few minutes ago lost it

  • Comment removed

  • What a scary tune!

  • Eh, it's a tie between that and the music they play whenever they run out of time of the show.

  • If US syndie Millionaire has this happen the ratings are done for

  • That creeped me out a little bit...

  • on who wants to be a millionaire in the usa, this sound was never heard. people in the uk, japan, austrailia, hong kong, the netherlands, russia, and poland have all missed the final question, that theme tune has never been heard in america until a guy lost $460,000 in duel.

  • Any idea of the Duel guy's name? And if there's a video of it?

  • no sorry i just found out about it.

  • Nick Rather

  • I'd probably die if I got that close but lost.

  • That would be a contestant's worst nightmare.

  • Melodramatic Music! It sounds like the kind of music that would be playing in a movie during the entrance of an evil dark lord villain.

  • SCARRY......

  • EPIC FAIL

  • Could achieve the sound that sounds when somebody hits a question please?

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry but how can I do that?

  • Comment removed

  • If I were on the T.V. show, I would be like this

    "questionaire:is that your final answer?

    me:yes

    (theme plays)

    "questionaire:you just lost $589,023

    me:NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How do you figure that amount?

  • Comment removed

  • yup.

  • Has anyone ever missed the million dollar question before?

  • Not in the US or UK. This tune was heard on the UK version once, but the question was thrown out and the couple were invited back.

  • I think the ordinary loss music was used when they got that flawed £1M question wrong

  • Good thing they brought them back. It would be horrible if they didn't

  • I would love to see someone miss a million dollar question it will turn me on

  • I think you'll find many of that in the Japanese edition.

  • for some reason this scared the absolute shit out of me when i was younger ;_:

  • oh yeah. me too!

back when I was like 5, my mom stayed up until like 11:00 pm watching this and whenever I heard it, I just got sooooo scared.

  • @gorillabread Actually what you heard was the time's up cue which was 3 french horns played altogether, The epic fail music was not heard on the USA version until 2009 when Ken Basin Blew it all when he got the final question wrong.

  • The japanese version of this went BEYOND scary. The timpani drumroll lasting much longer than this, followed by... dead silence... And then........

    .........ZAN-NEEEEEEEN!!!!

  • This is one of those sounds that would go good with any game over part of a VG.

  • Imagine hearing this when fighting Mike Tyson on Punch-Out!!

    The Winner By Decision...

    DEFNEDER!!!

    (CUE THIS MUSIC!)

  • LOL!

  • pretty cool!

  • why is this scary? its funny. . .xD

  • Not if you lost all that money...

  • true. but people make it sound like AHH SHIT ITS HERE.. but still xDD kinda funny to listen too. sounds like a mario game music thinger.. ish.. stuff xDD

  • This is very, very scary

  • Freaky.

  • Wow! Very scary sound!

I think that I will have nightmares in the next nights. I have a phobia for the loud loss music (since I was a kid, today is lower). I'm not played the last life of some videogames for not hear the Game Over music.

Hurray for the winner, early loser, lucky and cower contestants of WWTBAM of the world!

Is a nice mp3 for use as ringtone! XD

  • This theme tune has never occured in either the US or UK versions, as no one has ever lost that amount of money in those versions

  • wow.... thats creepy

  • Wow I've never heard that before but that's frickin scary O.O

  • very scary song.

  • I Hate that Song

  • Whoops! Sorry. Made a mistake. I would love to see that moment, though, if somebody has it.

  • I wonder if anybody has the video of Laurence Bowen and his wife answered a flawed Million Dollar question incorrectly uploaded or not uploaded.

  • To watch the video in high quality, paste this at the end of the address bar: &fmt=18

  • My gosh-

it is just downright CHILLING in high quality- it scared the shit out of me!!!

  • just dont think about it sike youll have to wait for it to leave your head . sleep with a brother or go over a cousin or freinds house that helps

  • this is like the hahaha up yours loser you lost a halloween special kind of theme

  • lol am i the only one who doesn't find this particularly scary or haunting? i mean it gives me the chills but it's entertaining to hear without the LOST 468000 flashing in front of my face. ;)

    nice find.

  • well, if you were in the hot seat, and you heard this music after answering the million dollar question, I'm sure this music WOULD haunt you for the rest of your life! haha.

  • Well that's exactly why I've never heard of it then! It's obviously because nobody wants to lose that much money; the majority quit and walk with the money, but a mere few risk it and luckily, they get it correct.

  • Lyn Payne came VERY close to hearing this tune, but she wisely chose to walk away and the answer that she and the majority of the audience thought was correct turned out to be wrong.

  • So did Gary Gambino in the Regis version when the answer he and his phone-a-friend though was correct turned out to be wrong. It took him quite a while to finally choose wisely to walk away.

  • Suprisingly, I have NEVER heard this one in the US version.

  • That's great. Because this happened in Japan AGAIN.

  • Ho yea it is not good

  • Holy shit that scared the shit out of me.

  • I've always wondered what it sounds like. Now I'm gonna have nightmares D:

  • I'm not paying attention to this anymore, only just the $1,000,000 let's play, $1,000,000 question, $1,000,000 final answer and $1,000,000 win, that's much safer, don't listen to the $1 Million lose, because do not have nightmares, as wos, that cue is very scary and the most haunting, so don't let it give you nightmares, don't pay attention and listen to it, OK, that's why it's important to walk with $500,000 dollars, instead of getting the $1 Million question wrong.

  • The theme that sounds when a contestant answers the last question incorrectly on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. scaryy... :(EVIL MINOR VERSION! EVIL MINOR VERSION! I have to thank you for introducing this to me and giving me eternal nightmares, as wow, that cue is scary as also, a different theme music will sound if the contestant misses the final question, and undoubtfully is considered the most haunting theme tune as it is giving me eternal nightmares, as wow, that cue is very scary.... :(

  • was this song clip played on computer/video game versions of the game when you missed the million dollar question?

  • Yes, it has been. I watch and play the UK version though. Whenever anyone in any country misses the million pound question, this music will sound. The reason there are just some doubts is because losing at the last question is very very rare.

  • A jackpot question loss for the champion during the jackpot duel on Duel will result in that sound in some versions.

  • @wing017 it once happened in the UK but that was a trick question so the Bowens were invited to try again.

  • scaryy...

  • This happened many times in Japan, and I knew there's one right here at YouTube.

  • I need to show this to myg0t. This has great voice annoy potential. >:D

  • Where exactly did you get this jingle from?

  • You can find all of the "old" millionaire music cues and sounds in various places over the web. In the US, though, as of September 8th 2008, all of the music for the show has changed. I remember a few years back however that Celador released a sound-track to the show on CD will all of the original music. You can probably still find it on Amazon or eBay, but it won't be cheap I'm sure.

  • It hasn't happened, but like it's stated below, the US uses the same core music from all the other versions. Not to mention the retired Disney World attraction "Who Wants to be a Millionaire - Play It!" had the same music package from the US version, and I witnessed first hand someone losing on the million point question, and that's the music that was used.

  • EVIL MINOR VERSION! EVIL MINOR VERSION!

    I love it!

  • Haha, reminds me of Smash TV.

BIG MONEY! BIG PRIZES! I LOVE IT! :D

  • This was a reply to Blindfoldedparrot, please ignore.

  • Dammit, this commenting system is broken. :( Replies to other comments aren't showing up as such.

  • Epic win.

  • How would you know it never happens in the US if, as you say, nobody has ever gotten the million dollar question wrong there?

  • The US version uses exactly the same music/graphics package as the rest of the world. They wouldn't change a single piece of music that's used as rarely as this.

That said, in the UK couples version, the ordinary loss music was used when a couple got the £1m question wrong, but that question turned out to have the wrong correct answer, so they just had another question.

  • That was Laurence and Jackie-Llewlyn Bowen who got the first million pound question wrong. As far as I'm aware though, the episode where they lost 468,000 was never broadcasted, so we don't know what music was used. I would assume it was this music, though.

  • I heard it was the £1,000-£500,000 loss music from another site, but I wasn't aware it wasn't actually broadcast.

I have to thank you for introducing this to me and giving me eternal nightmares. I think the only time this has ever been broadcast is on the Russian version, right?

  • No. Contestants in India have reached that stage and lost also. A contestant in Russia did lose 468,000 also. Type in 'Galina goes for 1 million rubles' and you can view it.

    Don't have nightmares! LOL

  • Also, it's happened in the Dutch version. Incidentally, the €1m prize has never been won, but the prize when it was Guilders has.

  • In Bulgaria, and once in UK, but in UK, someone was brought back with 500,000 pounds.

  • Many times in India, too.

Someone did lose the £1m question in the UK, but this wasn't played. Also, it was the Llewelyn-Bowen couple, who got another £1m question, as the one they answered incorrectly was too ambiguous.

  • I remember watching that particular epsidode when they got that flawed £1M question wrong but i forget what music was played

  • I guarantee you that if someone missed the $1 Million question here that it would happen with the same music :P

  • Wow, that cue is scary...
