This thing is the holy grail of clones. It looks exactly like original but actually has several improvements. The screen has a backlight which is a huge improvement. It also uses a rechargeable battery rather than requiring you to keep replacing stupid AA batteries. The last improvement is that it has a 2GB flash drive in it that you can just dump ROMs on. No special software needed. It literally looks like a flash drive when you plug it into your computer via USB. It's compatible with GBA carts

There some good things and bad things about the clone.

Good things: It has a light, has"many"games built in inside of it, and there is no need for switching out GBA cartridges.

Bad things: It will never be like the original, it wont feel the same(buttons might be stiff or something), and the color of the screen might just a little different.

Overall the clone is actually a really good product. I have always wanted a Gameboy advance (not the SP) with a light.

@Chinniciuni DealExtreme (Google it) for $45. Its in the category "Video game accessories > Other game Consoles Accessories" oddly, but yeah. It also comes in solid blue, Translucent pink, and solid black. Careful though; dont be enticed by the SP remakes they have. They seem to have bad reviews. And remember, build quality varies. If you get a bad one with a broken screen, cable, ect. Send it back.

@Chinniciuni Also, I can verify for your right now it is not compatible with the link cable, but it does play original GBA carts. (Sorry GBC, it doesn't seem to fit you, but I think from what ive heard it can play roms of GBC games)

I have a question. The GBA SP version of this cannot save GBA games inside the cartridge like a normal GBA. Does the clone suffer from this as well? The SP version can only save in roms storing it inside its battery (or something like that). Does the GBA clone when playing with an actual game cartridge save like a normal GBA does?

I have a "solid blue" version of this item. It actually does work great in every way - except that the rechargable battery is only good for about 2 hours. If you aren't near a power outlet, two hours of battery life is pretty poor.
