Mine has aeropostale, hollister, abercrombie, rue 21, and the are so good, and they are not picky about clothes you sell. if they are stained, then no. but ripped jeans, yes, cause that's the style.

There is nothing wrong with buying used clothes. Wash them when you get home and your good to go. The only thing I will never buy used are shoes.

im not a snob, and im definitely not a "rich girl", but i really dont like the thought of buying other peoles used clothes. jus becuz they got like armpit stains on em, and even if you clean everything off, id rather just buy something brand new.

They (at least the one I go to) are extremely picky about what they'll buy off of people, and I can tell all of the clothes I buy from there have only been worn a couple of times and sometimes stuff still has the tags on it (meaning it's new). Why pay $40 for Hollister when I can pay $9?

one of their price tags lied, it said small, it was meduim, i fit in XS/S, i was disappointed, a waist belt that goes with the shirt would be nice, i like shirts that fit tight not loose

@hcolover2000 I work at a Platos Closet in Ohio, and for Miss Me jeans depending on the style of them, in my store, they go for about 25-30 dollars a pair for the basic style. If they have jewels and stuff on the pockets, usually about 35-40 dollars. Abercrombie tee's 8-10 dollars, and tanks, usually 8 dollars.

@itsssannie ive sold lots of stuff there. They pay you depending on the brand of the shirt and if its new or not., but they pay you a good amount. I fyou dont like what they want to pay you for the items you dont have to sell it.! Hope that helped!

i just got back from that place and im never going back. it's a thrift store , not a department store ! they took four pairs of my practically unused, two month old jeans for TEN DOLLARS. each was name brand , and each cost around 25 dollars. SUCH BULL ! im disappointed and will NOT return there EVER.

i'm not dumb, i didn't expect much. but i expected more than two bucks a pair, especially when my friend gave a century old, worn down, brandless sweater and they gave her almost $20 for it. i didn't expect a fortune, but the way everyone around here brags about how much money they got back from selling a shirt or two, i was a bit disappointed. it's a good store to buy stuff, but i wouldn't try selling again. at least, not to the one around here.

Being as we are a used clothing store, we are not allowed to put it out extremely expensive. Most people don't understand that. I don't know what Platos your friend sold to, but that doesnt even sound right. My store would only put 6 dollars on a sweater like that. So you'd only get 2 dollars for it. 2.40 if we raised the price...

I love that store. I go there when ever I get the chance. Last time I went there I got a Juicy Couture shirt. This store should show you that designer stuff isn't worth what most people say it is and for people complaining this stuff is used. @ItsMilda I buy a lot of clothes from forever 21.. But I'm trying not to anymore. Some of the material they use to make their clothes tend to make the clothes rip really fast. Seriously I bought a brand new pair of shorts from forever 21 .. and the very next day they tore (no I'm not fat, I'm a size 3 -.-') . And at plato's I can get tommy and other good qualities brands that wont tear for years! Thats why I like plato's, and hello people try on the clothes in forever 21 so yeah its been worn to

I have absolutely no idea why people hate this store. Sure, its used, but its basically brand new. Because they are very picky about what they buy from you, and it has to be bought within a certain selling point as well. It smells good in there and they have a VERY wide selection to choose from. I'm a guy, and i do care about my fashion sense. But even though i'd love to, i can't afford all these clothes from places like Banana Republic, etc, so why not pick up a polo for 6 bucks?
